Fayte vs Bowser

Singles 3
Hiyoshi (15) Bowser
-Enbu Tennis[Feat]: If Hyoshi plays singles, he is boosted 5 points.
-Successor[Effect]: Hiyoshi gets to copy one of Atobe's Status Effects.

vs

S3 - Tachibana (24) +3 --> (27)
-Power[Feat]: User gets boosted 3 points.
-Wild Lion[Aura]: If the opponent is within 15 levels, Tachibana gets boosted 8 points. (both singles and doubles)
-Abare Dama[Effect]: Opponent's Effect and Aura are neutralized.

Fayte forgot to mention whether he was going to activate the aura or his effect. But it doesn't matter, Tachibana wins anyway.

Winner: Tachibana, Fayte
Doubles 2
D2 - Akutsu/Rin (52)
-Shukuchi[Feat]: User gets boosted by 3 points.
-Giant Habu[Effect]: If the opponent is within 5 levels, Rin gets boosted 5 points and nullifies all Status Effects (both singles and doubles)

-Power[Feat]: User gets boosted 3 points.
-The Demon[Effect]: If the opponent is 13-23 levels higher, Akutsu becomes their level.

vs

Renji (25.5) Bowser
-Data Tennis[Feat]: Renji gets boosted 3.5 points.
-The Master[Effect]: If the opponent is within 10 levels, Renji gets boosted 5 points. When playing against any member of Seigaku, Renji gets boosted 7 points. (both singles and doubles)

Sengoku (19) Bowser
-Lucky![Effect]: If the opponent is within 7 levels, Sengoku's team gets raised 7 points, they drop 7 points and their status effects are canceled.

52 vs 48

Giant Habu activates.
57 vs 48, and status effects are nulfied, so Sengoku's Lucky effect does not activate, and neither does Renji's The Master.

Winner: Rin-Akutsu, Fayte
Singles 2
Shiraishi (24.5) Bowser
-Ecstasy[Effect]: If the opponent is within 10 levels, Shiraishi gains 10 points. (singles only)

vs

S2 - Zaizen (20)
-Apathy[Effect]: If the opponent has an Effect, it is added to Zaizen instead

Zaizen stole Shiraishi's effect, and beat him!
...Wait, Zaizen beat Shiraishi? Really?
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA I LOVE THIS GAME.

Winner: Zaizen, Fayte
Doubles 1
D1 - Bunta/Kabaji (25+xx)

Kabaji (xx)
-Power[Feat]: User gets boosted 3 points.
-Usu[Feat]: Kabaji becomes the level and copies the Aura of whoever he plays. If he plays doubles, he becomes the same level as the highest leveled opponent

Bunta (20) Fayte
-Volley Expert[Feat]: If Bunta plays doubles, team is boosted 5 points. (doubles only)

vs

Higashitaka (15) Bowser
-Doubles Expert[Effect]: When playing doubles with Minami, team gets boosted 10 points. (doubles only)

+

Minami (13) Bowser
-Doubles Expert[Effect]: When playing doubles with Higashitaka, Minami gets boosted 10 points. (doubles only)

Kabaji copies Higashitaka, then gains 3 points from his feat.

Bunta(25)+Kabaji(18) vs Higashitaka(15)+Minami(13)(+10 from their efffect)

Bunta/Kabaji(43) vs Higashitaka+Minami(38)

Winner: ....Rape...This is rape. I mean, Bunta-Kabaji Pair, Fayte!
Singles 1

S1: Tezuka

Feat: Rehabilitation: Tezuka is Boosted 3 points.
Aura: Pinnacle of Hard Work: If the opponent is within 5 levels, Tezuka is boosted 5 points.

vs

Tezuka (27) Bowser
-Rehabilitation[Feat]: Tezuka gets boosted 3 points.
-Pinnacle of Hard Work[Aura]: If the opponent is within 5 levels, Tezuka is boosted 5 points.

S1 - Sanada (30) +6 --> (36)
-Power[Feat]: User gets boosted 3 points.
-Shadow[Feat]: If the opponent is within 5 levels, all Aura's are canceled.
-Selfless State[Aura]: The user gets boosted 3 points.

Tezuka goes up to 30 points! But Sanada is too strong for the pinnacle of hard work to work. More importantly, Shadow would negate the aura.

Winner and rapist: Fayte
Winner: Fayte, 5-0 LOL

Fayte made history. That has got to be the first rape in the league.

That was rape. There is no other way to describe it.
The ranking as it stands:
1)Fayte (9 points, +9 games)
2)Atobe The King(9 points, +5 games)
3)Jyten (6 points, +3 games)
4)Ravsieg (6 points, -2 games)
5)Bowser (6 points,-4 games)
6)Sherlock (3 points, -1 games)
7)Chaos (3 points, -2 games)
8)Jav (3 points, -3 games)
9)Hinata (0 points, -3 games)
Wow...Just...Wow. I'll post Round 4 matches soon, just gotta finish my philosophy homework first.

Well, if it's any consolation, you could have beaten him if you had put Shiraishi in S3, Hiyoshi in S2(since 'added to Zaizen instead' implies Zaizen's effect only works with effects that give a character a bonus, he would be screwed vs World of Ice) and switched D1 and D2.

Also, how was Belgium?

Well, screw my homework. TODAY IS FRIDAY. WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING?

Round 4 Lineup
Fayte vs Chaos
Atobe vs Jav
Those 4, send your lineups to me.

Sherlock vs Bowser
Ravsieg vs Jyten
Those 4, send your lineups to Atobe The King, this is his first round as a referee. HOORAY!

Hinata Fan vs Bye
The ranking stands like this after the bye!

1)Fayte (9 points, +9 games)
2)Atobe The King(9 points, +5 games)
3)Jyten (6 points, +3 games)
4)Ravsieg (6 points, -2 games)
5)Bowser (6 points,-4 games)
6)Sherlock (3 points, -1 games)
7)Chaos (3 points, -2 games)
8)Jav, Hinata (3 points, -3 games)
9)
...Yeah it didn't change much. SO ANYWAY, TIME TO KICK ASS AND CHEW BUBBLEGUM!

Considering that Jav is up against Atobe, you are probably going to stay in eight place and Jav is going to go down to last.

...Actually, depending on if/how badly me and Chaos lose, you may end up on sixth by the end of this round.

Just noticed that Synchro is listed as an effect rather than an aura, lol.

Also, about the Sanada issue...I say we leave it like that.

It could be called "Anti Yukimura" instead of PoD.

Absolutely no one else can beat Sanada in Singles, EVEN using broken effects. I checked every single possible combination.

The closest someone would get would be using Fuji+Prodigy, but then assuming Sanada is using any of his other effects, he beats the crap outta Fuji anyway.

So really, there is no problem about it. It might seem op, true. But as of now, it can't do anything.

If after a new chapter comes out and characters get boosts/etc, it becomes clear that his effect makes him beat ANYONE OTHER YUKIMURA THAT HE NORMALLY SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO BEAT, we'll change it.

As of now, his effect is an Yukimura-killer. Just like in ShinPot, lol.

So, just to make this post semi useful, I'll show you guys how the character boost increase will work now that we have the trading card system:
When a character(s) beat a character(s) in the manga, the following will happen:

-Character beats a character stronger than him: He gains the difference between them. E.g: Shiraishi beats Tezuka. He gains 3 points.
(This might seem a little OP, but remember, Shin Pot is monthly. More importantly, we are likely not going to get ANY matches for a while. Not only that, but matches are usually done between people of similar power levels, like Momo vs Oshitari.)
-Character beats a character 3 or less points weaker than him: He gains the difference in points. E.g: Sanada beats Tezuka. He gains 3 points.
-Character beats a character 4 or more points weaker than him: He gains 0.5 points. That's it.
-Character beats a character not present on our list: Character might get from 0.25 to 3 points. The referees AND the league players will have to arrive at a fair decision.
-Character wins in doubles: Both members of the winning pair get their points raised by the difference between them and the losers divided by two.
Example: Golden Pair(52) beats Silver Pair(40)
52-40=12/2=6
Both Kikumaru and Oishi would get +6 points each.

Definition of victory:
-If the referee says "Game and match!" it doesn't matter how much someone cheated, it counts as a win.
-If they are not playing a full game(i.e, a one point match) but are SERIOUS about it(like Kintarou vs Echizen) that will be counted as a match. If it's something like Inui's juice training matches, that won't count.
-If a character forfeits, the match will be counted as a win by the other character.
-If a character turns out to be another character in disguise in a singles match, both characters(the one he was pretending to be and the one who he really is) will get the boost. Yes, I am making up a rule just in case Niou and Yagyuu really did switch places. Deal with it.

New Techniques/Feats/Auras:
-As techniques get introduced in the manga, they will be added to their respective characters.

Anyone got any trouble with that system?

I'm not sure about the whole "adding points" thing. I feel like it would make things unbalanced.

@Bowser
Dude I made my lineup to go against your exact lineup. I was hoping you would place every single person where you did. I honestly didn't expect you to actually do it.

To keep things democratic, let's vote on who thinks we should keep the "bonus if a character wins in the manga" thing or not.

In favor:
-
-

Against:

I'm still shocked Fayte won 5-0 though...I mean, now Atobe has to win some outrageous matches to catch up.

Gonna be two unbalanced I'm unsure..

People like Ryoma are guaranteed a win in the series..

say he beats Kazuya...the difference between them is 20...Ryoma jumps to 60...which is broken as all hell.

I'm in favor of the new proposition. I think it would work pretty well.

Like I said, I predicted every bit of Bowser's lineup. Didn't know if I would be right though.

When it came to Zaizen, I was HOPING he would play Shiraishi. I knew that was my only chance of winning that singles match if Bowser had Tezuka, Renji, and Shiraishi in singles.

So THAT'S why I wanted to ban Echizen when we first started the league!
Hmm...What if we limit boosts to +5 points per season? So even if Echizen beat Kazuya, he would only get 5 points.

Or:

A character's victory over another character (in the manga) gets registered in the first post of this thread.

If that character plays a match(singles or doubles) in the LEAGUE against the same character he won against within 2 season(meaning: His player has two chances of guessing where to throw him) he will get the boost, and if he misses twice(aka: if he doesn't play the one he played against in the timespan of two seasons) that victory will be deleted from the first post, and that character will have lost his chance at getting a boost.

That oughta make it both rare and depending on skill rather than luck.

Thats...too complex..if only for the fact..

and the reason this proposition wont work is simple.

How the fuck is my sexy Kajimoto? or Sakuno going to get a boost? Some characters like Ryoga (lulz that bastard doesn't need it) or Kevin have no way of benefiting from this..

Hey, my Joker Wakato is also affected by that!

Maybe they could have something like this:
"Whenever a teammate(in the league) of character that is not currently appearing in the manga wins, its player can add this following feat to one of his non-currently-in-the-manga characters:
Non-Canon[feat]: The character gets a 3 point boost."

What about that?

Yeah, nice prediction. Now THAT was awesome. Dammit, I wanted to be the first one to 5-0 someone!
(Not that I could with my lineup, lol.)

Yeah, I think that might work. It would prevent anyone from becoming overpower after just one good match.

Also, rather than just ignoring non-official matches/short matches (like trying to avoid drinking Inui Juice things), what about saying that when a character wins a match like that, they just get a 0.5 point boost. It would keep there from being any major movement, but it would at least add a little more excitement, since I imagine we've got a better chance of seeing something like that in the next chapters than a regular match.

Belgium was pretty nice, went to france too. Got a bunch of chocolate for 20 euros, so nice :)

I got fucking mind raped I swear, Fayte has learned the skill of psychic from Sherlock, bastard XD. To be honest, I wasn't too confident, all his players could play singles.

Will send my lineups soon.

Is Syncro an aura or an effect?

All those effects is making it really hard to predict :(

Fayte raped Bowser 5-0...

*in shock for 20 minutes*

Who's gonna play Fayte next? *checks*
ME?!? Nooooooooooo.

Seriously, I'm afraid of that match, if I were to win I would have to be more Lucky than Sengoku ever was.

So THAT'S why I wanted to ban Echizen when we first started the league!

For the sake of balance, we might need to adjust the points before each season as a character might get too broken after some time (Echizen). Also, we might decide to add some new features to the league.
As such, it would be better, when we would do these things at the end of each season, imo.

Something completly different, shouldn't Mizuki get some small bonus for data tennis as well? Maybe not as much as Inui or Renji, just 2 points or something.

I can't see any mistakes.
Nice match by the way, although I think Golden Pair would have won 7-5.
