thats true im kinda a big square fan
i did try once to get into FGO but i wasnt able to get right into it for how much limited things you can do at the start, i already know that gacha games arent easy at the start but i just felt it was on an other lvl considering how hard it is to get quartz or should i say how long it takes to get a good amount, tho im up to playing it again ( ahem starting it i mean, i didnt even reach far ) if i can
i will look into Epic Seven maybe i will play it one day, but no promise. it does look interesting especially with what you said with the animations looking like Avatar the Last Airbender ( btw best cartoon )
about FFBE if i had to say, it does have a great story its just have a really really slow start, btw the characters that the story focuses on are all original ( well all those who are original have some kinda story if its in main or events )
and KHUX is not for everyone only fans that are dedicated and been long enough so im not even going to try with it.
Well, the story is supossed to carry you out at the start. Then its the degeneracy, as Jammin stated XD
Tho, one thing that carries the game for me (and the fate series in general) is seeing how they incorporate our real world legends and history into the game.
Even small stuff, like having a Godsses that is able to fire a giant planet (Venus) at others (A PRETTY FUCKING BROKEN ABILITY) being totally unable to harm any other Venus-related god/ess, since, yah know, thats their domain too.
How we have Tesla as a Servant, because he is the one that dominated Lighting, a power so related to gods that we (even if in present day we don´t think about it) gaining control if it is really pretty much a divine feat.
Or the more like the clever stuff, like if you don´t usy any catalysts (objetcts) when summoning a Assasin, you will always get a Hassan, because of the etymology of the word "assassin" acting like a catallyst itself
Or the conceptual weapons, like Vlad the Impaler Weapon is not just a "spear that impales", but the very concept of Impaling, since its pretty much impossible to think about withouth thinking about it
On FEH, I droped it a few chapters after the whole Ice-Fire kingdom started. "Oh no a ice waifu and a big bad fiery guy oh nooo".
Maybe it has gotten pretty good since then, but the sheer blandness of those new guys, and the fact that the whole "Bruno" stuff was just cockteased trought the entire first arc withouth a single resolution...Veronica as a villian was also flat to me.
Talking on comparisons with FEH (as it is the other mobile game in your list that I played), on the gameplay aspect, there is three aspects that I think FGO is superior
1) The team compositions
Either you have the right team for the Job (normally comprised of either 5* units or units that inherited a 5*´s Ranged Counter), or you fail on turn 1.
It felt less like a puzzle (like the regular FE series) and more like trying to open a giant safe door: either I have the right key or I can´t open it.
FGO you can experiment with a variety of teams and, considering targeting system and crits, theres a bit of luck into it, while also taking into account skill managing. Most of my experiment with FEH consisted of Nowi with Vantage destroying anyone that did not had a Dragon Dmg skill, with Hector killing those
2) Unit viability
EVERY unit on FGO can be made viable, while ALSO retaining their uniqueness. The inheriting system feels like I am just aplying a new skin on already existing charater on FEH
3)No PVP
Tying into point 1, no PVP in FGO is actually a good thing, since theres no need to be on constant farming duty to power up and do cheesy tatics, or be left out of a strong unit. I left at the height of the Horse Meta, I even had a powerfull team with Brave Lyn, Xander, Camus, and Eliwood (since I was trying to make him work).
Again, I left at the start of the arc of Fire mcbadguy, I think at the time a sexy fire secreatary or something appeared

Hey Jammin what can you recomend me in terms of plot so I can get rid of my FGO Fatigue after all those Demon Pillars farming? (waiting for the EoR and event reruns)So your basically just a huge SquareEnix fan.
I play all kinds of this games now. FGO was like a gateway drug for me. Though the only ones I ever stay with are the ones with a story element to them. That's the great thing about FGO it's basically an ongoing visual novel. The events are written kind of like side episodes and the main storyline a pretty robust Fate story.
You should take a look at Epic Seven. I started playing that recently and it feels very SquareEnix-y only it looks way better than pretty much anything I've seen. The animations are also like Avatar the Last Airbender level.
