Hardest boss in the entire game for me.

For me she was definitely a challenge but the Chad of the sun was a bit worse. I remember there being something in Babylonia that gave me some grief but Camelot was definitely the peak for a bit until Solomon and the EoR. That said, wait until the lostbelts and I'll be screwed because no Double Merlin

So that's where that song came in! I didn't even recognize it since the full version hits the feels so much harder. I feel like they really stepped it up with the soundtrack recently.

Aye haha, the promotional songs are some of the best to come out of FGO imo, really good stuff and a lot of them are earworms you can weeb out to They are easy to miss though which is the unfortunate thing haha.

I didn't have the same problems with anything after Camelot. Because they give you a little help with the tough parts of singularities after that. Like in Babylonia I remember how it warmed my heart to be on the receiving end of powerful buffs for once.

The worst bits were Shinjuku with the first break bars. But Bel doesn't have to worry about that now. And even those just make fights longer. It's doesn't have the "Oh $#^& you game!" factor that NP Spam Moedred does. Even with Gwain the Rock Johnson. Once you get over the disbelief over how little damage you do to that granite statue of man, Euyrale or Orion can nuke his hardened concrete ass to dust with your standard stall setup. Because unlike Moedred he can be charmed and is vulnerable to the anti-male servants. Or the Robin Hood / David combo.

When I hit that Moedred fight I remember sitting back and thinking... is this even possible?

I don't even remember how I defeated Mordred... I think I just used Orion and every trick I had to give her evasion and invincibility...

As for Salem, gotta say it was one of my favorites, definitely a 9 out of 10. It involving Lovecraft really pushed it up there. The only thing it had me wondering about is how/why they choose specific characters for certain chapters... Guessing Robin is a staff member's favorite, but Mata Hari and Sanson wouldn't have been my first picks. That said, I did enjoy their characteristics, and this Sanson felt more fleshed out then the Orleans version. Also, judging by the way it ended, I guess canonically the Abby we summon is a different one from the Abby that we met.

I think at the time I defeated Mordred with a combination of Zerker Kintoki (Because why not just whack things with buster cards? ), Eurayle, a support archer and then Mash. Plus Command Spells It do be like that some times

Bruh wtf how is your luck so good?! I caved and threw 12 tickets in for Scamcat and some nice CE's so I'm content. I'm ready for Eresh, and with 15-20 odd SQ to grab from free quests I could end up with 70 odd SQ before a potential pack purchase to try and will Eresh into coming home. Best of luck again everyone who rolls, including Jammin who mightn't need it

Is she that good? I don't know anything about Salem singularity. What's a foreigner lol. I just rolled her too and tbh i'm side eyeing her even though she's cute.

She's just cute loli bait with a new class haha. Her NP gain is terrible and that really lessens how good she could be, so I'd say she's okay but nothing to write home about apart from being a hard counter to berserkers.

The main thing is that she's an interesting and cute character.

Secondarily she fits really well into the teams I've got.

Pros

• Abby is an anti-Berserker. Foreigners take half damage from Berserkers and do double to them. And are only weak to alter egos.
• Her NP removes all buffs before it hits, is single target, and is buster so it can take advantage of the best damage buffs
• She has a stun that ignores resistance though you can't be sure it will land when you want it too.
• She passively generates some crit stars.
• An arts deck.
• A good NP drain. Making her fit well into Arts stall teams.
• Decently high star weight. Allowing her to crit often when paired with casters.

Cons

• Low NP gain
• No hard defense
• Long 7 turn skill cooldowns at max rank

She's a pretty balanced servant overall. Most of her weaknesses actually aren't a problem for me because I have an NP4 Tamamo. So that takes care of the NP gain and the cooldowns. So she's particularly well suited to my preferred teams, which are Arts teams with Tamamo.

For most people I think Eresh would actually be the more beneficial of the two. The reasons being that she fits into almost any team really well. As long as people understand her drawbacks, as she too is very balanced.

Eresh Pros

• Skill that buffs defense, np generation, and max HP. Along with attack if used along with her NP. Useful for any team.
• NP charge skill on her mana burst for farming.
• Comes with a hard defense in invincibility.
• Very high HP. So generally tanky.
• 6 hit arts card!

Eresh Cons

• NP does pretty low damage.
• Only 1 arts card.
• Relatively low attack.
• 6 Turn max rank skill cooldowns.

So Eresh is the patron deity of versatility. Tanky, great support skills. Can do ok damage. One of those units like Tamamo that just makes everything easier. But she won't be beating up bosses for you. In fact, sometimes her NP will be too weak to even clear waves. And her skill cooldowns are just 1 turn too long to be on the Tamamo/Merlin/Waiver tier.

Not too interested in Abby, but I gave it two 10 rolls for that potential brown caster : D Ofc absolutely nothing, so I used a few tickets. Gold Caster appears... it's my fourth Waver lol. Dude keeps spooking me for some reason, wonder if he'll be my first NP5

Anyway, I hope I'll get some of your luck for Eresh. Both me and @syx will roll a few times.

I did a little of that this morning just to test the waters. That's going to be bad. It really brings back so much trauma for me of the pre-okeanos dragon fang grind.

Got impatient and tried two 10x rolls right after maintenance, nothing but CE... Waited til this morning, got my smol eldritch daughter and two Sheba, the latter I didn't really care about but is happy to use.

Been saving up Exp and Fou since summer, so got her to lv 80 with max Hp/Atk and ready for battle!

Like Tamamo, she really seems to need those Arts chains to keep her NP going. When you have those and crits happening she can get it off fairly often.

I've been enjoying her, though she's not as powerful as I was expecting. For example, playing through the free missions in Salem, while she does plenty of damage to the Berserker bosses, she doesn't one-shot them with her NP alone. Defensively, she hasn't been that bad, though crits can be scary.

As for her NP gains, yeah they're not as bad as people made them seem, though to be fair, I tend to equip her with a 50% NP gauge CE, so I really haven't had to worry about building it up from zero. Her first skill has been really useful, though I wish it had a shorter cooldown. Still, it's been nice for tipping her off. Her second skill has also been quite useful, haven't really needed her third skill yet, but I can see it's future potential. All in all, she's not that bad. Honestly, if I had to compare her to another servant, it would be BB - a servant I can throw in a team without really having to worry about her weaknesses, that can also play second fiddle and support her teammates.

That's interesting. I've been using her pretty differently, to pretty good results I think.

What I've been doing is using her mainly as an arts crit servant. She probably makes the best use of Tamamo and Merlin's buffs I've seen. Waiver would probably work equally well. Because with her 3 arts cards and high star weight she doesn't need a skill to keep her gathering stars like Avengers and Berserkers do. She doesn't have the damage spikes someone like Jalter does but she's much more stable because she's always landing crits.

I put Another Ending on her (Arts + Crit). Then put my 2030 on Tamamo. Abby get Tamamo's 3 turn arts buff. Merlin or Waiver's 3 turn crit buff. With her passive and 2030 there are 10-12 (depending on if the 2030 is limit broken) crit stars every turn on top of whatever's there. Add Merlin's NP to the mix or any star gen skill.

The result is a very stable arts crit team. With her throwing out NPs every 3ish turns after she gets started.

The bit that puts it over the top. Is that my Tamamo refunds 40% NP when she comes at the end of a chain. Add a support Merlin's NP and the gain it provides and Abby's own 10% from her first skill. And what you get is a servant that ignores classes, does great damage, and contributes to arts team skill spam. It's slow to get the first NP off but after than the ball keeps rollin' with her landing crits the whole time.

For the people on the grind like me, how is your stake farming going? I'm only at 22 out of the 216 required for Eresh and at this stage with how they're not always dropping I'd rather not look at how many Scamcat needs haha.
