I found the adaptation so bad that I didn't nominate Tatsuya as one of my favorite male lead, and he is one of my favorite character in fiction. There are other reasons and I stated them many times in the anime thread.

I missed my chance, but I should have nominated Kill la Kill. That was one of the worst animes I have ever seen. Good soundtrack though.
