Yes, see, it's one moment. It's not like they're referred to as that over and over. They're a "dream" pairing. That's why it's in quotes, not because it's a real pair name or anything. Fuji/Kikumaru or Fuji/Eiji works just fine.

Regardless, Asky, what I was originally saying was that it's silly for them fans to have made up nicknames for every pair in existence, even if they only played once.

Technically, Championship Pair is a thing because Konomi was describing Marui/Jackal as the championship pair, as well as being the better Rikkai pair, plus they were the final opponents for GP to surpass to become the #1 full-time MS doubles team.

Platinum Pair is a ridiculous name.

Didn't the fans give Fuji/Kawamura a name?

Shishido/Ootori are described as Hyoutei's Golden Pair, like how Oishi/Kikumaru were supposed to be the best Seigaku pair, and thus they were the Golden Pair of Seigaku. As there can't be two Golden Pairs, the fans named Shishido/Ootori Silver Pair.

awww, zi, just sit back and enjoy the flow. Konomi does enjoy it for sure. He never misses a senshuraku from the musicals. Maybe he wil lstart to use other names too, like data pair, emperor pair...

And, i never heard of a name for Fuji/taka-san, but there are names that i never remember. I'd have to find that old list of pair names.
