In contrast to the last episode much better. The only thing what looks really weird was the moment when Boa was talking to Margaret [@ 3:05, Part Two]. The position of the eyes are a bit to far down I think Oo
What I liked the most in this episode was the scene in slow motion right at the end of the episode.
What makes me wondering is that Luffy's Gum Gum Powers looks kinda new (don't know but I like this style of how it is animated)

hmm the episode was better than the last one..the anime was a little better.......and though they stretched it out a bit......can't complain.......handcock seems like such a bitch....lol.......can't believe she's fallign for luffy....haha....the next episode should be really funny

the filler is this ep was dreadful to me, but i'm glad they explained why luffy reacted to hancocks beam like that, does luffys reaction in the anime and manga mean oda is making the davy back fight arc canon?

in the manga he says "Noro noro?" in the anime he says "Nero nero?" did the nero nero beam slow him down i skipped that part of the anime, and does this mean they are making that canon or the anime artists just changed luffys words and added a flashback to make it make more sense?

To think Toei stretch Kuja pursuit for Luffy, He can managed to dodge arrows, but can't avoid the newspaper . Seemed the news catch Luffy this time, not another way around . But I think the part that show Luffy disgust toward Hancock behavior is less catching than in the manga, kinda look emotionless.

the davy back fight appears in the manga too as well as foxy and his noro noro beam.
also, are you sure about the spelling? was it the subbing group or your/their hearing that made 'nero' out of it perhaps?

Oda made the Davy Back Fight arc canon early in 2004, when he drew it. Although the arc seemed like filler, it actually WAS in the manga as a segue arc to introduce Aokiji, and a fun diversion to boot. Filler WAS added to it in the anime, in the form of Luffy picking Sherry over Chopper after Sanji and Zoro's game, and then losing Robin and having to get her back. Only the first, second, and last games were canon, and Foxy's return was not.

I've noticed before that people are surprised that the Davy Back Fight was canon. I can only assume it was because of the added filler, since it's kind of hard to tell what's filler and what's not between Skypiea and Water 7, since G8 is rather good, and the Davy Back Fight is a mess.

more than introducing aokiji, I have the impression that this panel is the more significant of the arc. I see it as a very nice forecast to Robin retrieval

i start to hate this new animation i would rather that old fashioned animation back.
i especially hated the punch bakura got, it made luffy's stance look kinda gay, no offence

Personally, I find the episodes great, especially when the vice-admiral fought the Sea King. But I have to admit that this punch was so disappointing, I was expecting a punch like the one the Tenryubito got.

The animation was pretty nice, i didn't like the angles though.
Pretty exiting arc this is.. yes. yes.

I want to see luffy kick ass, but it didn't look like it would happen until the end of the next fight.. lol i hate when that happens.

Oh my god ! This is the worst episode of One Piece I have ever seen ! A true disaster !

They have close-up on people's face, make them talk but all that with a video done with images. And they re-use the same images a lot of times. They did not even try to make the people's eyes/mouth move a little as anime does normally. So, we stay for several seconds with close-up on images that they make slip.

OK so Episode 413 is out.

They spent the first five minutes with Luffy placing the statues of Marguerite and the others. I find it weird that the "superhuman" Luffy had trouble lifting them up- of course that could have been to be delicate.
Finally, some action scenes. Luffy is getting his ass kicked as he dodges the acid attack. A flashback with Sentoumaru and how he was able to injure him despite being a rubber man. (Reference to Haki). Sandersonia is dodging Luffy's attacks by moving her curved body. Luffy falls off the cliff. Commercial.
Luffy gets up and Hancock does some comical surprised routine. The two boa sisters use Marguerite to stop Luffy from attacking. They plan on dropping the stone statue while Luffy is constricted by the other boa sister. Luffy finally uses his Haki which basically causes a wave of astonishment in the stadium. There is a moment of silence, people passing out as a result of the Haki. The sisters drop the statue gently, contemplating on the Haoushoku Haki. Luffy cracks his knuckles and prepares for the battle. If any battle. TO BE CONTINUED

Next episode- finally the action battle between Luffy and the Boa sisters. Luffy uses Gear 2. One of the sisters uses flaming hair snakes, the other uses green hair snakes.

And why are there HD youtube material but the streams with sub like on hmm animesparks aren't hd... I want subbed hd episodes
