Like all the others before me said... This episode was so funny xD
But the only thing which has scared me was Luffy's face animation in Hancock's daydreaming (the one with the roses on the screen)... I never want to see Luffy like this again 'cause it just doesn't fit to him.

Nami's new attack was quite nice and Franky's end of the story was suprising. While Nami's adventure was linked to the end of the manga pages of her story Franky's adventure is more offtopic. But it is sad that they don't show us the cover story things... In this case they also could started with Zoro or Brook <<
But hey... Maybe they will show those things as fillers right after ID when they are sailing to the execution place.

Next time we'll see Chopper and Sanji (wohey... ^^). It's too sad that we don't really see any Okamas in the preview (just normal girls ... yeah I know that those people are Okamas but they don't look like fat men dressed as women xD).

Next week is Sanji+Chopper, actually.
The interaction between Luffy and Hancock was wrong on so many levels. Even though Luffy is 17, he has the appearance and personality of a 10-year-old. And what is she? 30-40? They even had her fantasize making out with him.
The episodes themselves had a somewhat varied plot from the serials (i.e. circumstance on how Nami finds out about the Wind Knot, Franky not finding Vegapunk's place).

Well I don't think that Boa thoughts are that far away from the truth. And Nami presentation of the windknot is very similar and Franky will found Vegapunk lab for sure in the future

I never laugh so much in one episode.

When Luffy wonders about who would be scarier, the kujas or nami, in this epi Luffy made his point, Nami is freakin scary.
Franky with red tea, buahahahahah.

Hancock daydream was hilarious, Luffy grown up face was so funny.

Well I don't think that Boa thoughts are that far away from the truth. And Nami presentation of the windknot is very similar and Franky will found Vegapunk lab for sure in the future

I guess, but it was done instantly where she was sitting around sulking. As opposed to the anime when this was done after she calmed down and was sitting at a table eating.
There is something of a consitency; Franky was his normal self when he found the lab in the first place. Franky needs cola to retain his normal self. Yet they say they have no cola on the island.
Obviously considering how each of their stories takes about 2-3 pages of manga content, there will be a lot more filler than canon in there. Personally I thought that Chopper's story was the least fulfilling out of all of them and probably the one that will include the most filler.

I like how Nami use the wind string.
And I guess that Franky will get two things in this island : a better body (Dr Vegapunk's old laboratory) and a less important consumption of cola for the same attacks (survive without cola and with only tea)

Well she's at least 27 but I don't think much more

12 when she was kidnapped
16 when she escaped
11 years she is the empress and captain of the pirates (the elder mentions she was still very young then, I think even it must've been right after they returned)

And well it's her first love, how do you expect she's gonna react

I think it is a rather good thing actually. You don't see a lot of depictions of attractive older women interested younger men in shounen (although you see the reverse happening quite a bit). The term "cougar" is a popular term in the U.S. (don't know if there's a Japanese term for this), and this episode definitely made me start seeing Hancock as a cougar.

Typically, how the term "cougar" is used is for any woman who is older in a significant amount of time who is interested in younger men. By "mature," it is meant "older" (in terms of chronological age). Mental maturity isn't necessarily a factor, and a younger woman who happens to have a lot of mental maturity would not qualify as a cougar.

Anyway, I meant it as more of a joke, since the term is quite popular currently here, but while she does have some cougar-like qualities IMO, her naivety makes her seem younger, which adds to her charm.

I rushed through the episode because wasn't pleased by neither those filler contents that lead to nothing nor the again very bad quality of "HD raws". (1440x810 was again oversharpened - that "1270x720" seemed to be upscaled)

Come On! even if there is no cola on the whole island. it wont matter. franky is able to make cola himself.
hilarious episode. franky tea scene was epic. " boy! are you not ashamed" haha

interesting part.. how the old man on sky island had an aura around him making extreme wind and raining nothing. control of air i wonder if Oda will explain it. or eventually we will understand it through nami learnings.
