So Brooks is writing a melody to curse the Longarm Tribe. I don't really understand how it could make them leave the country but it has to work. He was already able to put people to sleep with music so why not ?

Maybe rather than a curse it will be a song to motivate the citizens from the poverty village

so it's not a recap episode but part of Luffy's Flashback. It's one of the first time they change the timeline that much

probably brooks is upto writing a tune which will make the long arms sleepy or something or go crazy !! they look like one of the guy i saw in shabondy arc ?? is it? Orange color i dont remember the name

Also, the title matches with the title for the next episode.

It's probably something to give more emphasis to what happens next.

In the preview of episode 457 I could not see a hint for a flashback or anything that would be improtant for the story, so either there won't even be a recap/flashback next week or they didn't think announcing it would be neccessary?

Does anyone think Oda might want to split the flashback into luffys + aces, because apart from the start where luffy gets rescued, the rest of the flashback seems more to do with ace.
So you never know, I don't mind if the episode is just re cap, with a couple of flashbacks from the manga without going into the story.

What ever it is hopefully its 1 episode and i'm looking foward to a new opening when the battle officially starts

But it is announced. Check list of one piece episodes on Wikipedia and you can see it.

It's not on wikipedia, but on a one piece wikia, regardles of that, fuji tv has the preview and I trust them as much as to not fool around.

That said, please keep in mind to wrap all events that were not shown in the anime so far should be wrapped in spoiler tags.

Actually it makes sense to do an Ace flashback beforehand, even if it's jsut additional, to show the special relationship of those two and later go on with adding Sabo who is imo still likely to play a role in the story, but I know there are quite differing opinions about that >.<

but theres new animation material
so its more like flashback+recaps+new animation.

Clip Shows are the worst.They are even worse then fillers,but i guess the kids in Japan need it,as OP is quite a long series.

I liked this weeks episode. I thought the fill in parts were nice as-well. I really liked the Zorro and Perona scenes. I thought Brook scenes were done nicely also. Gave it a 10, I haven't read the other comments yet.
