These last two episodes got butchered HARD!
In fact, ever since Luffy arrived, it just dragged on and on and on ...
When Luffy first arrived, we had half an episode of him running up and down the marine ship followed by screaming "Ace" a bunch of times.
Then, last episode, we had the Boa dream sequence COMPLETELY ruining the mood of a war. Seriously ... who the heck day dreams on a battlefield!? What's worse is that, it went on for TWO episodes.
Also, Mihawk should have made a CLEAN cut on the iceberg. I felt that that was very important in showcasing Mihawk's power. I feel cheated seeing the horrible cracking cut. That is just not as impressive.
If they must add fillers, at least add fillers of Luffy and co battling marine soldiers and showing interesting attacks and moves. Both marines and pirates should be showing special attacks, not just fodder slashing and getting punched, I mean, those are elites fighting aren't they!? It should be chaotic and fast, not slow and boring ... c'mon!!! I don't even mind if they added fights that shouldn't be in there like Jimbei vs Mihawk, I think that's a good thing. They should have been more bold to have that and maybe an extended Boa vs Smoker bout.
Seriously, I always loved One Piece anime, but these last two episode could have been done SO MUCH better. They better not screw up the next few episodes where Whitebeard goes on a rampage.
In fact it was great to see more of Mihawk in action.
