Looks like the new healer set turns Kokomi into a monster. This must be some sort of strat to have reruns make more money or something, why else would you release the character without the set designed for them?

The testing I saw seemed to suggest it didn't work very well on Jean, primarily because without Viridescent Venerer or a Phys set she doesn't do enough damage to really have much of a damage proc with it since her healing is based on her ATK. Probably not very usable on her over VV unless you were running her in a Geo team.my drops have been garbage but i'd like to test it on jean...
as for healers, it seems like the other sets have better bonuses, but i haven't really seen what it does yet.
Yes, Enkanomiya will be in 2.4 supposedly, which will include Shenhe and Yunjin. The dual rerun banner is probably going to be Xiao and Ganyu if I had to guess.generate fomo for a lackluster unit.
given what i've heard about another section of inazuma opening; she should be story relevant again for a rerun very soon.

Shenhe
Is there a video on it?
*looks at video on it*
Well that's just disappointing.
She's the last 5 star character from that model leak sheet waaaay back when the game first came out, so she's been anticipated for some time. plus she's waifu as fuck. But I remember initial "leaks" were saying she was a Hydro Claymore user and that obviously changed. Yunjin had what looked like a green/blue vision in recent official art despite supposedly being Geo from way back then too.Surprised that there has been little to no complaining about us getting ANOTHER 5 star cryo unit.
Granted, i don't really NEED anything...
maybe a pyro catalyst healer or dps electro catalyst.
But I remember initial "leaks" were saying she was a Hydro Claymore
However, having her shield scale off of HP and her buffing damage via DEF seems to not fit her theme well at all though lol.

Which set?Having elua and ayaka. The super conduct combo with the set sounds nice (maybe i should save my mercy for a raiden shogun rerun).
No, surprisingly Honeyhunter is still operating, most of the early leaks were from Twitter when the beta servers went live seemingly. Tends to happen just as a new patch hits the live game.I thought all the leak sites got off'd, where you find this information?![]()

Oh right, I guess they might benefit from physical resistance shred, yeah. The clam set. The bubbles scale with phys reductions (...iirc).
Since 2.0 stuff gets announced prior to the beta starting anyway, so I'm not sure if that's a factor or not. They really did seem like they were done and said 2.3 would be the last beta they would cover but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.Holy moly-
I figured the beta section would've been gimped but it still carries all the unreleased characters' info...
i guess they just hold off on posting the characters until mihoyo announces them.

Also Shenhe's static field looks smol... hard pass
If you've seen his skills, one of gorou's static fields, move with the active character. what gives mihoyo?
Oh right, I guess they might benefit from physical resistance shred, yeah.
Gorou's Burst is basically his Skill except it moves. I guess because he's a pure buffer that doesn't do anything else they wanted him to be more flexible.
Frozen enemies can still have Superconduct applied to them, plus there's more ways to reduce Phys resistance than just Superconduct, but that's of course based on who you use, etc....hydro might mess it up though.
which means that it's probably better on electro/cryo healers.
Well, the new Geo units will have their set right away instead of waiting a patch to see how good they might end up being.given their past antics with kokomi/corrosive. I'm wary of their itto/geo sales pitch living up to the hype.
Is that something you wanted? Can't tell
Not sure if I would want to "waste" a refine sacrificial sword on Qiqi, would depend on the team I guess. But if you use Xingqiu or Bennett, absolutely not.
It's not entirely healer hate, Qiqi is widely considered the worst 5 Star in the game. Her HPS is good but her particle generation is awful, which is why Diona is almost always recommended over her as a cryo support/battery.I don’t subscribe to the irrational hate healers have gotten (...i’ve wanted her for a long time).
Bennett is not the most interesting mechanically no, but just from a pure power perspective he's amazing. There's a reason why he's almost always the default counterpart for Pyro resonance for every Melt/Vaporize team.Bennett sucks eggs (it was on him before i got her).
Xingqiu- does that skill of his stack?

ohhh. It's not about it stacking it's about generating particles for his Burst.
Personally, I prefer Qiqi over Diona, mainly because healing while attacking fits my play style.

There's no accounting for taste obviously, I think Qiqi has a fun playstyle, it's still pretty unique. But depending on the team, having to dedicate field time to her healing without her Burst can be a detriment.Personally, I prefer Qiqi over Diona, mainly because healing while attacking fits my play style. And as far as I've seen, her healing has only been outclassed by Kokomi, but that could be due to lack of optimization of my other healers.
Really that's because most content hasn't required them and units like Bennett exist which can massively buff your dps as well as heal you. As well as any other unit that can prevent damage instead of heal it, preventing damage will always be superior. Corrosion is a rude awakening that requires them now unless you want to use a shitload of food just to farm domains/bosses.There's a raging bias against them (the kokomi hate was wholly justified though).
Favonius is a pretty weird choice for him though, especially when it comes to his damage. Xiao was criticized mainly because he was long-awaited since closed beta and came the banner after HuTao, which is a better/more flexible version of him. His biggest issue is his best team comp is all 5 Stars (Xiao-Jean-Zhongli-Albedo), and the fact that his damage doesn't really take off without a 5 Star weapon unless you have something like R5 Deathmatch. So he's one of the more f2p-unfriendly units in the game really.I remember when i was pulling for xiao some of the things i would heard about him were- "no good weapons" "horrible energy recharge" "boring"
slapped a favonius lance on him... he was like razor, ult always up. plus the whole skewing everything on screen.
I got a primordial jade way back but i think the favonius was a way smoother playstyle (...i should toggle back and fourth between the two)
Well, offering many things can sacrifice power in some areas, but I don't really think that's the case with her. A well-built Diona with Favonius Bow and a few constellations can provide a shield second only in power to Zhongli, amazing particle generation for a battery, better cryo application than Qiqi, and also buffs reaction damage via the Elemental Mastery buff her Burst gives if you have her constellations maxed (really this is just a nice bonus, the other things are what make her exceptional).I wanna like her but-
She's middling.
She does everything but at an average level.
...if i had her already built, i'd use her. as of now- she hasn't excited me enough to make that divisive plunge.
It's least effective on Bennett compared to Qiqi and Xingqiu IMO. Bennett can definitely make use of it, but because of his ability to transfer damage to his carries via his Burst, you really want as high a base attack weapon as possible on him. That plus his Skill cooldown is very short anyways so it's much less of a necessity to have smooth rotations. Plus, unlike Qiqi and Xingqiu, Bennett's ascension stat is Energy Recharge, so he needs less of it on his weapons and artifacts as well.ohhh.
I've used it on bennett and it doesn't really seem that game changing (r1 is really garabage, it might not even be worth using, compared to other weapons)
There's no accounting for taste obviously

Git Gud... But seriously, I'm curious about that team composition. Do you tend to stick to one main team? I have a core team I do daily's with and general exploration, but for bosses, I'll switch out characters for the best combination. With Qiqi, while she was my core healer, I would switch her out for Noelle or Jean when needed, and now that she's at friendship 10, I've replace her with Kokomi for the core team. There's no accounting for taste obviously, I think Qiqi has a fun playstyle, it's still pretty unique. But depending on the team, having to dedicate field time to her healing without her Burst can be a detriment.
