I had accidentally built like 50ish pity on the last banner after getting Ayato because I was trying my luck at getting his weapon and pulled on the wrong one... (didn't get his weapon but ended up getting Elegy of the End twice instead which is one of Yelan's best weapons) So yeah, I didn't have to spend too many pulls and won the 50/50. I figured that the worst case scenario is I'd get the guarantee for whoever is coming in 3.0 or 3.1. Definitely going to want to save for the Dendro Archon Kusanali.

You have a good weapon box going for the future. Atlas is good and Amos is pretty niche, but I find it kind of hard to believe you don't have a good Wolf's Gravestone user. It's a top 1 or 2 weapon on every Claymore user iirc.

I should rephrase. I don't have a anybody for those weapons actually built or anyone I intend on building.

My current actively used roster is..

• Keching - Lion's Roar
• Ei - The Catch
• Yae Miko - Widsith
• Jean - Aquila Favonia
• Qiqi - Sacrificial Sword
• Diona - Favonius Warbow.

I run my Eula with Skyward Pride. I like that weapon on her since I prefer to run her with ~200% ER. The other only other Claymore users that I use even occasionally are Deluc and Noelle. With Deluc he's got the Serpent Spine's crit stats to keep his crap gear working semi-ok. And I don't like him enough to farm better gear. Noelle can use it but I don't have her C6 and until she hits that and gets her full defense scaling she's not really worth building for.

What team do you usually run Eula with? I'm assuming Raiden at least? Wolf's Gravestone would have great synergy used with her since she has such insane attack scaling. Skyward Pride is definitely serviceable though, but if you ever want to upgrade her and you have resources to burn, getting some ER/Crit artifacts and using WGS would probably be an upgrade.

Diluc is one of those units that needs a new set or something to become relevant again, kind of like Qiqi

Noelle got a huge boost when they added Itto's weapon in the game, unfortunately he's just like a better version of C6 Noelle. Which is a shame because there was a time I enjoyed using her despite it being kind of trollish.

I mix her into whatever I feel like using but my standard team is Yae Miko, Eula, Ei, and Jean or Qiqi.

While the Wolfs Gravestone would probably give her bigger damage numbers with it's huge attack stat boosting though it's proc effect isn't super useful on her. The Skyward Pride has higher base damage, it's flat bonus to all damage (Which is 10% since it's R2), ER, and the vaccum blades that give her 8 extra hits at full damage which offsets that damage difference and has her burst up off of cooldown without really trying. So it's a nice mix of everything for her. That combined with the gear she has allows her to, I think, get sort of the best of all worlds. She just works and does great damage without having to think about energy at all.

She has good enough gear to switch to the Gravestone and be able to use that just fine. She's got 60%/120% crit and well over 150% ER in a chivalry+pale flame set. So she's pretty flexible that way. I just really like the way she plays built like this.

Finally, and just 20 more fungi to get until I can get him to 90. Required doing the whole Seirei Island and Tsurumi Island saga...which was actually pretty awesome. It should have been voiced. I loved it.

Thoma has so far given me my hardest hits (over 11K).

She good @Asako. Go for Gry if you want him. Characters are better than weapons for non-whale types generally. If you're a whale type? You do you.

Dupes unlock constellations which are like unlockable bonuses for the character. You can get a max of 6 on characters.

General tips. Focus your primo gems on the event banner (as there is a pity system that carries over between banners). Don't need to worry too much about optimizing things for quite a while. You're not going to be able to get her best gear until AR45 or later and you don't really need it until them.

What Jams said btw, just refine a Recurve Bow to level 5 with the ones you get from exploring the wild and give it to her, it will make her hit hard despite being a cheap 3* weapon.
For banners prioritizing characters over weapons is the best choice. Even so, if you want to try your luck from time to time go ahead, I've had my fair share of great pulls from weapon banner tho I know its not the same for many people.

I'd really like to know how you built him or your other units, because Thoma is probably one of the lowest-damage units in the game. His real strength is in his shield.

generally i feel inspired by those people making those goofy non ordinary builds of characters on youtube, so I just hunt for crit dmg up and attk up artifacts for him with also elemental mastery since the reactions are where its really at. Crit rate is lower than I like so I need to try to build that up...oh I also have a Pyro Dmg Up artifact on him and level up talents. Current weapon is the one that does extra damage against pyro or hydro characters...also I do eat the buff foods in domains

team is Geo traveler, Thoma, Xingqiu, and Razor

Yep anything with Energy recharge or HP makes Yelan amazing.

Been playing for over a year now, tho I have taken a couple of breaks in between. Didnt start playing it seriously until this past winter when I actually started building the stuff I got properly lol

My "go to" units right now are:

• Lumine (Geo) - Mistsplitter Reforged
• Kaeya - Amenoma Kageuchi
• Kazuha - Iron Sting
• Zhongli - Favonius Lance
• Albedo - Cinnabar Spindle
• Gorou - Sacrificial Bow
• Noelle - Redhorn Stonethresher
• Raiden - Skyward Spine
• Yae Miko - Kagura's Verity
• Xiangling - The Catch
• Bennett - Alley Flash
• Xingqiu - Sacrificial Sword (he needs new artifacts tho, Yelan left him half-naked)
• Yelan - Favonius Warbow

Right now Im mainly building Beidou cause I loved using her early game but Raiden inherited all her artifacts and Im too lazy to farm new ones lmao
Also building Yun jin, Sara, Rosaria and Fischl, but quite slowly.

Nice. Yeah, I play about like you do. Off and on. Though I started like a month after launch. I only really started building out optimized gear after Raiden's release. Her and Yae Miko were big motivations for me. Before that I sort of just leaned on my first 5 star who was Eula. She kind of demolished everything without a shield, gear or no gear.

I wanted to build Beidou as well but with it's so hard to justify building another electro character for me. It's not lost on me that I really should have one hydro character built with all this electro but... I just kept dreaming of the Mona spook I'll never get. Makes Yelan a little tempting.

It's actually her best "generalist" weapon and best 4 star too. It's better than most 5stars as well. The only two weapons ranked higher are Aqua Simulacra since it does the most for her personal damage and Elegy of the End, which is more of a support pick since it buffs your team's damage so much. It's really only better than Favonius on her if you're using her in a Vaporize team though, since the buffs are centered around elemental reactions. Also, Base Attack is irrelevant on her so 5stars having more of it doesn't mean anything.

Yeah that can definitely be interesting.. Pyro DPS Bennett is definitely a thing, but if you go all of the way with his 6th Constellation, you can't undo it (I wish they added a toggle of some sort for this exact reason though, I've had his C6 for a while now and the notification is quite annoying). It makes all attacks within his Burst do Pyro damage, and it can't be overridden by other elements. So it limits the kind of teams he can be used in quite harshly. Just something to keep note of for the future if you get more characters you want to use with him.

Who is on your bench?

• Xingqiu - Sacrificial Sword (he needs new artifacts tho, Yelan left him half-naked)

Yelan obviously prefers HP a lot more than him but they both like Emblem set the best. Also, using them together seems pretty powerful, which is what I've been doing. Right now I'm using a Freeze team with Kaeya-Yelan-Xingqiu-Rosaria and it's quite funny.

I'm curious what your team usually looks like? Mono-electro is actually one of the more viable Mono teams because of Thundersoother. It's actually really good on Yae if you can keep good uptime on it's passive (which is obviously more doable the more electro you have). It works really well in Electro-charged teams too, so would work with Yelan too.

Of course the issue is having the pieces though, since Thundering Fury isn't tremendously popular among Electro units and Thundersoother being even more niche perhaps. But because Electro-charged reaction spreads both elements and maintains both simultaneously it's actually a lot more viable than people think. So something like a Raiden-Yae-Beidou-Yelan team sounds like it might actually work pretty well on paper.

I vary it depending on what I'm doing but generally it's a quick swap team focusing on electro and physical damage.

1st slot.. Yae Miko

My Yae built for high damage as you'd imagine. 2 piece Thundering Fury + 2 piece Shiminawa's with the Widsith. I spent months getting that gear together, Started when her skills leaked, so it's with extremely high crit stats. Her main function in my team is to always have totems do constant and significant damage. Then with Bursts every now and then for nuke damage, of course.

2nd slot.. Flex Spot

This is usually where Eula goes. It's whoever is going to end up spending the most time on the field. 2 piece Pale Flame + 2 piece Chivalry. As you know she's great, physical strip and nuking along with solid basic damage.

3rd slot.. Ei

I pretty much always use Raiden Shogun on my teams built on emblem just like everybody else. Works great with Eula and Yae. You know what she does. Swaps in batteries things, kills things, put electro everywhere then swaps out.

4th slot.. Support Slot.

Been using Qiqi lately because she's new for me and her physical damage from the Clam set is actually pretty substantial. She's the best physical damage choice. Jean goes in if I want to lean more into elemental damage direction as she serves that team better with the Viridescent strip.

This team serves me well. All 80 energy bursts which allows Ei to do her thing very well. The only annoying thing is that things tend to die before the rotation gets around to Eula's Lightfall Sword nuke and it explodes onto and empty battlefield and I find that.. frustrating.

Yeah, a really well-suited Eula team usually doesn't get to do it's full thing outside of Abyss or Domains

Well, I myself am kind of curious about a mono-electric team, especially with Kuki being a healer and her coming next banner. Not sure if I'll pull, but Electro/Electro-charged is probably the most viable element to stack. The resonance gives a lot of value too.

Yelan is better than having only Electro I guess, it'd be resistant not immune. But not ideal perhaps.

Please take my Mona, I have her C1 and dont even use her

Its a good thing to have at least one of each element yeah, specially to deal with different hordes of enemies, but building the units you like is always infinitely more fun.

I have a predilection for Geo and Electro elements cause their characters feel really fun to use and easy to implement everywhere.
I also like Hydro but almost all of their characters are 5* locked huh I wish I hadnt lost the 50-50 in Ayato's banner...

Tbf I never bothered to farm 5* artifacts in domains, all my characters use a mix of Gladiators, Wanderers and 4* sets like Berserker and Exile.

I dont usually farm either, so if I have to then I prefer going for safe values like talents and level, theres enough rng in the gacha already.
