I think the stingy nature of Genshin is due to how limited the summoning pool is.
If you think about it the amount of things you can pull is abysmally small, if Genshin was as generous as other gachas with their premium currency then many people would not have enough incentive to spend money in the game.
Besides that there's also the quality of each character you get too.
I would say that, besides Qiqi constellations (they are truly bad), there's not a single 5* character that you may regret obtaining, that includes most weapons too.
The same could be said about 80% of the 4* summoning pool. Theres also a pity system, and it carries over to future banners which guarantees you to get the thing you want if you plan enough.
Most gachas just sell an animated jpeg with stats attached to them or straight up never guarantee you will get what you want, no matter how prepared you are, which makes them a true "casino made game" that I generally dislike. I dont play Honkai but I guess its a much older game, which means their summoning pool and playerbase is a way way older, and it directly effects the reward system.
I feel like Jammin in the sense Im glad this gacha in particular has so little improvement from daily farming, cause that means there's no fear of missing out anything. You can quit and come back when you want to.
