Yea mate i'm chinese n can read a bit of jap. You know, you could view the latest raws/chinese, and at the same time, read Bomber D Rufi's translations on this site(If you haven't already)! They're usually contributed to some of the groups to use anyway. Fast, detailed, well-researched, uptodate, smooth.

Hi Wa Mata Noboru has released newest (372) chapter and Kewl0210 has said they intend to release newest ones from now on and fill in the blanks when they can. IMO very good idea. As for the chapter, it's really, really interesting and refreshing. Let's us to look at the characters from some new perspective. Didn't think it was still possible.

I doubt it will end before we know more about Gin's/Katsura's/Taksaugi's teacher (I always forget his name, Shoyo?) and before Takasugi raises hell. Before that we will probably see many more gags though.

I remember Sorachi once saying he wanted to end the series around 30 volumes. Look what happened to that goal. I wonder if it's because of the growing fandom for the series. At this rate, Gintama can go 50+ volumes and still sell well.

Regarding Takasugi, the recent chapters involving Hijikata's past had some foreshadowing as to what may happen in the future regarding him and his chosen allies. I think once Sorachi is done picking people to ally with Takasugi, then things will fall into place.

Chapter 375 is amazing, I'm really impressed. I laughed my ass off when I read Kagura's ice lid analogy. And there was at least another line just as funny as this one. But the best thing is the serious side. Sorachi really knows which buttons to push in order to make his reader's adrenaline go high. And page 14 of this chapter I have to add to my collection of the coolest pages of all mangas. End of the chapter also makes it really, REALLY interesting.

OK, first off, how come they didn't mistake Gintoki with Kintoki? I mean, they're the spitting images of themselves and the only difference is their hairstyle which can be easily changed. How come Kintoki wasn't attacked by someone? Yeah, yeah, I know the standard answer.
Anyway, I liked City Hunter reference (writing XYZ on a bulletin board) and loved how Kyuubei looked and that almost every hot chick appeared in this chapter. Katsura giving away flyers and Kintoki stoically exposing his "tama" cracked me up. I also loved expressions of each and every one of the characters in this chapter (is it just me or has Sorachi leveled up in that department?), especially Kagura's, Shinpachi's and Otae's (who was the only one that shed a tear and thought that sth isn't right about them going after Gintoki). Actually every page was a masterpiece. Katsura being offered a job, Tsukuyo being offered a job as a porn actress, Gintoki saying anti-cliche line "I just came to stick some snot on IT" (so not a person), etc. etc. There is just too much to mention. But let me just quote my favorite line of this chapter: "Once this is over, whether its hell or under the sheets, I'll go with you." I so love Tsukuyo x Gintoki conversations. Anyway, genius chapter of a genius arc.

to be fair, the order of who got the flashes of memory first in this chapter was quite random. Eg if Gin had fallen on Sacchan first, wouldn't she have gotten a 'flashback' first? Or even Kyuuchan for that matter.

Of the MANY female characters, Sacchan, at least, has also done/been through quite a bit for Gin- the later part of the driver arc, the earlier part of the assassin-assassins arc, the end of her debut arc, and her many many other appearances. Being an obsessed nutso doesn't mean there can't be any love involved, or that you can't [move] the target of your obsession.

Tsukki undeniably has the deepest connection with him. But aside from being heavily involved in a few long arcs, she's not really seen/around that often. Well, either way, i've seen real-life parallels(not to manga-extremes of course) of both kinds of relationships, working out. Just providing another point of view here

Another godly chapter that makes me think this arc is the best serious arc so far. Every page is just awesome. I really loved how Sorachi tied up Sacchan, Tsukky and Kyuubei in this fight and the way he made them go to Gin's side. The way he protected Tsukuyo was super cool (although I'm biased since I'm a supporter of Gix x Tsukuyo pairing). Next, the action with Toujou was no worse however. The move Gin used to defend against Kyuu was ingenious, using Toujou as a shield in such a way, lol. This scene was golden. Last but not least, Sacchan landing in a way she landed and sniffing his balls was also so Gintama-like . And earlier Gin called her a hot babe which will make her wet once this is all over and she will recall his words. But the best picture of the chapter is the one with three hot babes crying :]. It's always nice to see their woman, delicate side.

Plus Gintoki's on second base with her xD And both of them had a master whose teachings have gone wrong (the master himself in Tsukuyo's case, Takasugi as another student of Shoyo in Gintoki's case)
Anyway, almost every pretender Gintoki has would be a good shot for him (except for Tae's food lol).
Having read the chapter i'll say last page goes to the list of Gintama's memorable/epic moments and this arc is going to be epic in the anime. (i can perfectly see Yorozuya Blues as OST of at least 1 of the eps in which Gintoki had nothing but Tama and Sadaharu http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGkzRsZvRrw)

Please note that this thread will be following the proper numerical order of chapter releases. Meaning despite 374 being released because it is a jump from the more regular Edited Manga release of 352 we will consider chapters that jump far ahead despite having an English Edited Manga release requiring a spoiler tag. Especially given that this is quite a jump of chapters, sure Gintama is more episodic but nontheless this is quite a jump. I am glad there are members who would consider this and already used a spoiler tag beforehand, it is good to see members thinking for themselves what would be a good etiquette for other readers.

I am aware of the new arrangements - yes I read post #450 as I need to since I sift through messages as a moderator - but it doesn't change the fact that we would like to consider members who do want to follow proper numerical ordering, besides is adding a spoiler tag that difficult.

Also I would like to remind members when PMing to please observe COURTESY especially if it is with regards to a mod edit, ask the said moderator's permission first before editing what was already edited as there will be need to clarify the situation with the administrators or global moderators - assuming it is indeed contentious. Best...chapter...ever... to think Sorachi would go that far to blame Kintoki about the last anime critics. BTW, it seems this arc is going to be animated in January! Knowing how the arc ends, i suppose it will be a good ending for the anime (let's hope it will be a temporal ending)
