I find kamui's motivations disappointing tbh. I always though that he is following his old traditions of his kind but now we learn that he is doing this all because he lost his mother, i don't know, i didn't like it.

I find his motivation pretty great tbh, because it's humanizing him, and that was really necessary. He basically chose to discard his father and sister, to save his mom. In a sense he's done the same as Umibozou, who was willing to sacrifice their happy family life to save his wife. They both failed in the end, and tried to find something else to "fill their heart", so to say. Both feel guilty for destroying the family in one way or another, so they come up with another goal to distract themselves. For Kamui that's chasing after the man he always admired, and finally beating him for real. It's basically the only thing he had left, after choosing to discard his family. In the end Kagura was completely on spot, he's a crybaby craving for attention and some hugs, but he's probably feeling too guilty to admit and accept that he wants their family life back. He has twisted his reason so much, to look away from the faults he commited as a kid and the sadness over losing his mother, that he needs someone to open his eyes by force.

And there's no better people for that than the Yorozuya

Yeah you have a point there but in generally losing his mother is not so much of a trauma to be a complete psychopath(guy attacked his father, who lost his 2 arms and about to die)
After seeing a villain destroying everthing in her/his way, killing countless people, then we are getting "this guy lost so much" or "he is trying to save the world with his own rights"... I just do not like it.
Lol indeed there are no better people and btw for some reason I am shipping for kamui and mutsu

Yorozuya at it's finest. I loved this chapter. Even Shinpachi managed to pull decent fight. To be comlpetely honest though I hope the fight will resolve in next chapter. I would like the story to move on at least a bit. Gintama spoiled me in the past with fast pacing.

Of course, we all knew this would happen, since the manga is ending soon, and they can most likely finish the story in one last season.

The sad thing is that there are so many arcs that weren't animated...
And since they are already in the last arc in the anime, they probably never will be...
