Hmm, I myself do not have much faith in Global Warming.
Humans have been here for what 4000 years? Correct me if i am wrong but it still doesn't matter. The earth has been here for a few Billion years. How do we know it doesn't get hot every oh, lets say million years. We don't know. Also, right now its -27C outside. (-16.6F for the Americans)
We know for a fact that there are ice ages, why is it impossible to think there are heat ages. or times in which the earth becomes an arid dry place?

Well, it isn't nature that's doing this. The verdict has been released.

What we need to do is not to fight back, but to prevent the war from ever happening, for we can never triumph over nature.

i heared in a report on the radio that the average temperature of the earth will raise about 6 °C until the end of this century.
As comparison: from the ice age until now the temperature raised about 5°C only.

My biggest issue is that here in Canada the government is getting bashed by the media for not doing enough about Global warming. But Canada has about 30 million people. Yeah we could fit in the state of Illinois.
Now many of you may not know this but almost all of Canada is more than 2 meters above sea level. So global warming isn't really an issue. Where as the United States, they refused to sign on with Kyoto and they have a lot to lose, they have more arid land and desert that would get significantly worse. They also have a lot of lower than 2 meters above sea level land such as most of Florida.
Another country that has a lot to lose is China, and they also refused to sign the the Kyoto agreement.

oh you may be right maybe when people start seeing the big picture or better yet when they stop being ignorant

humans is stupid and is not going to do anything untile the last minuet and then its to late what we should do is going back to horses insted of cars and old sailingbots and we just need ballons to fly whit well everthing going to slow down relly much but it whould be a great help for the planet and it whould be much better for us humens too especyally the fat once they need to move orund more:P

Have you watched the american film "the day after tomorrow", it's about the possible effects global warming to the glaciers at the north pole and the possible aftermath of their melting (scientists say the portrayal in the movie is accurate to the possible future of the earth except it would take hundreds of years to restore the same earth we have now; in the movie it only took a short time)

Cows farting impact the climate change more than fossil fuels. The sun is getting hotter, we also live on a very complex earth. Volcanoes spew masses of sulfuric gas. Time and time again professors that push global warming turn out being quacks. Corporate shill; Al Gore, stars in a horrible film about it yet it some how made it to theaters. The Oscars -always a political agenda- go crazy about it and nominate it for awards in a global warming themed show. Can't you see the strings?

There are already transponders in your car to tax you by mile. This is how the global elite operate. Everything is set up for a quick problem-reaction-solution event years before hand. If the earth was really in danger something would of been done about it long ago. It's illegal for people, companies, and practices to operate by means that are hazardous to the environment. And people are not as dumb as you might think. You don't have to look very hard to find examples of other fuel sources that are extremely efficient.

Also, there is by no means a short supply of oil on earth. This is a big misconception. There is a short supply of free market. These oil barons are monopoly men. Global elite like that work in concert with other elite to screw you over more efficiently. If there were a real problem the oil would be gone. Instead it's; "What can I do to help the earth?". Smarten up. Do some research. Look into some independent sources for once. Don't just eat every spoonful of propaganda that's shoved in your face. Mark my words: There will be a tax on fuel emissions.

Yes, I remember about that movie...but never seen yet until now the full movie...I'd seen only the trailer & the "on the making" of this movie...I think also that would probably happen in the future, if now we'll not take any action to protect our nature, the earth in which we lived in...upon seeing the trailer of that movie, it really struck me & made me cry inside, seeing that kind of situation if that would happen in the real life...
So in my part, as well as in our community, we segregate trashed from biodegradable, non-biodegradable, so that we can recycled those trashed that is still to be used...especially plastics we don't burn it, instead recycled it, & used it again, as long as it is clean...
So better to start now, than never...
