well this was valid when he was facing pitou and thinking kite is dead, right now kite is alive pitou is dead the crisize is over he met his father and life is good i can't see the trauma effect having something to do in here,also i seriously doubt that he made gon lose his nen just so he'll get back later on too blunt to be true if there is a play in here it would be in Nanika definition of normal and if there is something hidden or not known about gon up until now that's one i'm bringing the forest theory caus i'm sure it's gonna be twisted in the style of hxh

Nah. I can't see Gon as anything but an Enhancer. It fits him to a T. I suspect he'd have to overcome some tribulation - probably someone he cares about under threat - which would cause him to impose an even more onerous oath & restriction which would restore his nen. I don't think he can overcome it psychologically without any consequences.

A new hatsu might be interesting since I'm not a big fan of Jajanken (the charge up time, the predictability....seriously....). I would like to see a more versatile ability, although Reinforcement users are somewhat limited in how creative their hatsus can be. I would not want to see Gon as a Specialisation type or with some showy, overpowered technique/s (I'm looking at you Naruto!).

The last chapter confirmed that Gon can't use it but he has still aura, just like a normal person. Meaning that if he pays the price, he will have to restart from scratch and choose his Hatsu again.

thats exactly what i was thinking and since nen can change over time his is most likely to. he met his dad, had a huge revelation when kite died and put his life on the line when fighting pitou. he's most likely gonna have to start over, my guess is that there will be a time skip or we wont see him for a while which i would like. kurapika and leorio werent in the greed island or ant arc so i'd like killua and gon to get some away time before they come back. hopefully there will be months, or maybe a year or so in manga time where we wont see them, the dark continent is like 10000 times bigger than theres is so i pray they spend months if not years exploring it before they come back

Hmm Gon seems to have be reset to 0 in terms of Nen. His Affinity Imo isn't going to change imo and f it does hee's going to become a specialization but I just cant see that happening I think togashi is going to pull something else...

But his Hatsu is Jajanken; Why would that change? What about Gon says he doesn't want to use that technique anymore? His Hatsu technique isn't going to change either so long as his affinity doesn't change then, Gon won't need to create another Hatsu.

Gon's character he's your typical Shounen Antagonist that's simple minded and makes friends easy, giving him some complex character is really going to mess up his characcter

I don't think his nen type will change/he'll lose jajanken, but then again, Togashi already showed us the full extent of jajanken. (adult Gon) What else can he really do with it, ya know?

i think gon will be a specialist but primarily focus on enhancer abilities. just like kurapika still mainly uses his chains when he activates emperor time, gon may become a specialist but stick to close range fighting, just mixed up with a little bit of everything

I don't see why he should change his nen ability, we've seen how strong it really is against Pitou... It's a straightforward ability that fits Gon a lot IMO

well the rock is strong although slow, but the scissors and paper are kinda meh. but it has potential. maybe Togashi can add new powers for Gon? idk..

I don't think it should be changed, but I do think Gon should eliminate the weaknesses the technique has, for instance, the amount of time it takes to charge up...and the fact it leaves you vulnerable--which Knuckle mentioned several times. However, I think Gon takes so long to charge up his techniques due to his lack of nen experience and stamina. But then again, even when he fought Pitou at his max, he still had to charge up...

imho Gon didnt have a abillity yet... except maybe the giant groth...
JankenPo is simple used his style of Nen to the extreme i would belive any enhencer could use Rock/Paper/Skissor it does not seem as it would be impossible for them while a real ability is something special only the user can use (except ging*g*)

To tell the truth, I think(and sort of hoping) that togashi is planning on making this arc for just kurapika and leorio, and then making an arc completely on gon(sort of like one piece, but the way togashi does things, that way a majority of people will be satisfied with new gon, maybe losing ging or a new comrad) to get his nen abilities back, ging will tell him he can't gain his original abilities back, so gon will make new ones. I got these ideas due to gon vs pitou, you guys saw his various types of way to perform janken gu. Not really a timeskip, but maybe gon will get various ways of using gu(like he did against pitou), he(1 hit like normal, maybe a hiei styled one, and a complete sword mode), and pa(charge shots like spirit gun, rapid firing, or distracting fast shots).
