Team Gray & Erza vs Natsu & Mirajane

Haha, you can make that thread if you like, but i can pretty much guarantee that the poll would be completely one-sided with Gray and Erza on top. The two of them would low diff Natsu imo, and i'd wager most others wouldnt call it more than a mid diff win for Erza and Gray.

Ok, I may have exaggerated on that. It probably sounded like I was really wanking Natsu, I'm sorry)
What I meant is that Natsu with his FDKM is stronger compared to Gray or Erza. So if we had Natsu vs Gray or Natsu vs Erza, Natsu would be the winner. But fighting against them both, Gray and Erza clearly win with medium difficulty.
So I see two scenarios:
1)If Gray is indeed super effective against Mira, he wins against her without huge difficulty. Then Gray and Erza defeat Natsu together.
2)If Gray is NOT super effective against Mira(I'll go with that for now), then Erza vs Mira = Erza wins with high difficulty
Natsu vs Gray = Natsu wins mid/high difficulty. And in the end we have Natsu vs Erza, where Natsu should win with high/extreme diff.

Yeah....Mirajane is getting stomped. Which means Natsu has to solo. Gray and Erza win this with mid-high diff. All bets are off if Natsu beats Zeref though.

I'd say this depends on the duel matchups.

Natsu/Gray and Erza/Mira:
Natsu and Gray are dead even, while Erza takes down Mira med to high diff. Erza then joins Gray and together, they bring down Natsu.

Winner: Gray and Erza.

Natsu/Erza and Gray/Mira:
Gray takes down Mira easy-to-med difficulty, while Natsu takes down Erza easy-to-med difficulty within a similar time frame.
Natsu and Gray then fight each other, both being at similar remaining battle strength. Natsu eventually wins with extremely, extremely high difficulty.

ppl use their assumptions as facts which is fine imo but i have to disagree in just one point. Mira is human not Etherious. Using demonic powers doesn't make her weak against demon slaying magic nothing suggest that in the manga however Gray can still take reduced dmg for her but his slaying magic won't hurt her like a demon.

Mira weakness is her mana. It finish so fast which will results in her exhaustion early. She is the only character who need excessive training because she can't last long in fights.

Erza and Gray are smart in battles they can troll Natsu pretty hard not to mention that Erza got that flame armour that will reduce the flame dmg by half however
Natsu can use modes like BDKM to multiple his powers so i don't think it would be very effective against DF or BDKM Natsu. Lets see his performance against Zeref with DF to see the limits of his powers.

If you're talking about Mirajane in her human form then yes, I would agree with you. But once Mirajane uses her Satan Soul Takeover, Gray's devil slaying magic should deal more damage. It doesn't matter if she is an Etherious or not (which she isn't), but the fact that she becomes a demon (definition of takeover) already makes her susceptible to Gray's magic.

It's really no different from Chelia and Dimaria. In her human form, Chelia's magic didn't really work on her. But once Dimaria used God Soul Takeover, Chelia's god slaying magic actually had an effect.

Why would the book give Natsu a power-up? Natsu's not using any demon power from the looks of it. Even if the book does give Natsu a power-up, what makes it temporary? Just keep it open.

I doubt that the book is affecting Natsu in any way, at least not yet. Natsu wasn't really angered, and the way he said "I'm fired up" most likely means he just got serious. Which is why he most likely activated DF. I mean, both Natsu and Zeref weren't surprised that he achieved it. Zeref looks intrigued, but he doesn't seem surprised at Natsu's power up. So I think it's pretty obvious that Natsu can achieve it at will. I mean, if he managed to do it in Tartaros(granted, it was triggered by emotions back then), I see no problem in him learning to acheive it over the 1 year timeskip. I mean Wendy did it, so why can't Natsu?
