Beat him up with physicals on par with BSS.

Yes, but that the reason the mechanic didn't work. Macro works differently and was stated to work on Demons as well so dunno how Gray's DeS is going to stop just bcs it was able to stop MG's due to him being a demon.

And? She would still have to have the stats to compete otherwise Mira would have blitzed them and no sold their physical attacks in BSS. They have the physicals to tank, hurt, not get blitzed, and tag BSS Mira therefore they would have to have stats on BSS Mira's level.

Mira using macro on few fodders doesn't mean jack just as much as Gray's being surprised mean anything. FT mages can easily be. How many was Gray and Natsu surprised in that GMG arc? She needed sitri to oneshot a pure fodder who has absolutely no feats.

This last chapter just proved once again that even if Gray wins it would be high diff and due to his advantage. Honestly it really depends on DeS working on Mirajane as well as against Tempesta for example since Gray pretty much crushed this Gray > Mirajane rhetoric that has been circulating for years online in the West just as how Natsu crushed the Gajeel > Mirajane belief too.

Natsu was head and shoulders above Gray until he got DeS powers. Gray had trouble with Rufus and Lyon was stomping Gray until the combo attack. Natsu was above both of them. So Gray being impressed by Sting does fit to where his PL was at in the GMG.

Well I guess it's settled. For now, without POF, Gray is weaker than Mirajane AND he can't insta freeze her or gain an advantage over her because she uses demon takeovers and he has DeS.

If Gray didn't have that advantage, I'd say his CQC feats against Invel and END are still better than anything Mira has shown offensively, and his endurance is also up there in FT. So he's got the main stats going his way.

Obviously there's "Macro >>>", Alegria, and Mira is no slouch in her forms, so I'm going to say Gray wins in a tough one.

Well Cheria needed the slayer advantage and 3rd Origin via Ultear and in this case it's heavily implied that the slayer advantage Gray has over demons either doesn't work on Mira or works but not effective enough to allow him to beat her because of it. When he said she has no weaknesses, she'd be a pain to fight, he can't freeze her (it would be like Skullion) and he can take her now that she's injured, all of that leads us to believe that he isn't getting an edge or enough of an edge with DeS magic to beat Mirajane simply because he has DeS magic.

And as for power levels, he thinks she can beat Skullion when he couldn't and Cana, Lucy and Juvia agree while Mirajane managed to draw with Skullion and gain his acknowledgement in her weakest form so I'd say it's apparent that Mirajane is overall stronger than Gray and Gajeel at this point.

Perhaps later we'd see how her Macro would fare against him or how her takeover would affect his demonisation when using his DeS mark.

I think people forgot that Sherria only won because of 3rd origin, which gives a mage the maximum magic power that they can obtain from their future.

Unless Gray has already peak his maximum abilities then i would say no.

Regarding his fight vs End, where it was easily blocked by Erza by her barehand then it was not impressive at all. And the fight with Invel was clearly about POF a dying Juvia which i dont think he has access whenever he wants to.

And base on hype alone by Gray and Co. , Mira would surely win. And BSS perfomance against Skullion, which Des Gray failed to do.
