Story
Hana yori Dango evolves around a story about a poor girl who enters into an elite high school where she meet a group of 4 young powerful rich boys in that school, and from then on she encounters various of problems and also start a piquant spring love story. This is based on a really popular manga series with the same title as well.

This drama series has 2 seasons. First season was aired in 2005 (9 episodes) and the 2nd season was aired early this year in 2007 (11+1 epsiodes). Of course there is more hype over the 2nd season with the popular Jap star Matsumoto Jun, from pop group Arashi to appear as Doumyouji Tsukasa, and it also features cool songs from Utaka Hikaru and Arashi too.

Taiwanese Version
The taiwanese version is called "Meteor Garden" or Li Xing Hua yuan (流星花園) which was aired in 2001. It was very popular as well as it casts these 4 boys who become known as F4 for their singing.

"Boys over Flowers" 꽃보다 남자 the direct translation(?) is the latest addition to this ever popular shoujo series.

I have only seen the taiwanese version for this and only the first few episodes. However, i'm seriously thinking of watching the HYD season 2 mainly because of Matsumoto Jun! Now now, have any of you seen any of these versions yet, and if yes, what do you like about it or what make you watch it?
