Wait...thats how aids was made? I always thought it was a huge mistake by some bored scientist.

And if someone says "I know this Asian girl", it confuses me, I don't know if it is Oriental or South East Asian. But I would have to guess depending on where the speaking is speaking from or residing in, if it was in London, I would guess South East Asian. People here usually say Chinese/Japanese instead of "Asian" don't they?

If i hear "asian" i immediately think of Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi or anybody from south asia. There are more south asian people here than any other part of asia, so asian naturally describes them. And yea, people do say specifically "Chinese/Japanese" etc instead of just "asian", if they dont people would think they are talking about south asians. Its gets confusing. When im online though its a different matter, when someone says asian, i assume someone who is oriental or sometimes south eastern asian.

I would even go so far to say that I'd overlook persons of any other Asian ethic unless I'm specifically told to look for a Pakistani or an Indian or someone from Egypt.

Yeah you meet more Indian, Pakistani and Bengali people here, so it is natural to assume "Asian" = brown skinned. Oh sorry before in my post I meant South Asia (India, etc).

We've had some school-aged kids in this city put under quarantine too. I don't know anyone who actually has it, but there's a number of people who do, apparently. From what my anatomy professor talked about, it probably started as swine-to-swine, then a strain evolved to swine-to-human (don't even want to know how...) and now human-to-human, which means even if you ate an infected pig it wouldn't be infected with the strain that humans can get. Or that's the postulation.

I agree with you Renboy... Abortion seems like a good solution to solve raping problems (unwanted baby) but the rest... well... the rest sounds like people trying to deny the responsibility for their actions ¬¬

it's such a subjective thing that really the only people who can say whether it's right or wrong are the women having one. Personally, it doesn't matter to me for various reasons, but if you ask me, a woman getting an abortion because she doesn't feel capable of supporting a child in her current stage of life is as valid as a woman aborting a child because it was created from a raping. I'm not saying it in a cruel way, but logically speaking, in most cases would you want a woman who considered aborting the child actually raising it? And yeah, I know, there's adoption as a choice as well, but I can't say much about that since I know nothing of it...I would just hope that if a child is born and put up for adoption that it doesn't have a hard life because of that. Ultimately though, abortion shouldn't be a question of whether it's right or wrong, but like Obama recently said at my alma mater, it should be question about what can be done so people don't have to resort to it. Please excuse my offenses...I haven't slept in a long while.

I personally don't think it's wrong, if the woman is considering an abortion it's probably best that she doesn't go through with the birth, since she's most probably grow to resent the child, the man involved (only if the conception was consentual ofcourse) should also have a say and his feelings should be carefully considered though, if the woman decided to go through with the abortion without considering the man's feelings then there should be some sort of compensation.

There is no story. The place and time of the virus jumping over to humans is unknown and just assumed to be in central Africa. It's not even confirmed that chimpanzees are the animals to blame, they just happen to carry the form which is most likely the root of the human virus due to several similarities.
