Depends on what you mean by boat arc, the Princes are supposed to kill each other during the trip, there's the bodyguards, Saiyu's treason etc, it will be longer than that IMO but Togashi is able to condense a lot of things in a single chapter so maybe that's possible.

You mean getting on the boat? Yeah, that should be possible. There's no way he can resolve the Dark Continent though or the other 4+ side plots we've got going on.

I meant actually resolving the boat trip, aka, showing us which prince wins and resolving kurapica's plotline with the fourth.
That would be really nice.

That is a lot of stuff, but Togashi bashed the story from gon and killuah's parting to the point we are now into ten chapters.

Viz Media and Shueisha announced on Tuesday that Yoshihiro Togashi will resume his Hunter x Hunter manga series once again in Weekly Shounen Jump magazine in September.
Togashi went on hiatus after one of his longest uninterrupted run of the manga in August 2014. Shueisha shipped the 43nd compiled volume in Japan in August 2014, and Viz Media will release the same volume in North America this month.
The manga inspired two television anime series including one that has been running since 2011. It also inspired two anime films and several original video anime titles.

Oh well, it can't be long until HxH really returns.
September would have surprised me, though.

SIU and togashi should make a team. Siu's work ethics is insane, i am not sure whether he even sleeps and togashi is the best writer in the manga business i know.

But of course that won't happen since Togashi wants to finish this one alone (and god bless him with that).

Anyway, since this thread is about false hope, i will take the opportunity to say that my prediction is that HxH will return on the ninth December 2015.
We will get 30 chapters tho with short interim period of 2-3 weeks hiatus over the holidays and at one other point of serialization.

What are you basing this on? Ninth of december? As it stands, HxH is on an indefinite hiatus, there's no source anywhere stating that we will be getting new chapters, especially 30, starting then.

Well, personal gut feeling mostly.
But as i said in the other thread, there was no year without a hunter x hunter chapter yet, and i think togashi wants to keep it that way.
In the worst year, we at least got the two kurapica special chapters.
Since we did not have a chapters this year, and we did not hear about a return yet, i assume that the chapters will come in november - december.

Mostly, when Togashi returns late in the year, the chapters spanned from one year to another, so , depending on how many chaters we get, i would rather bet on december than november.

I would rather bet on early december than november because one chapters short before christmas would be strange.

Oh well, i hope i will get some cookies if i am right.

I also notice that it is kinda ironic that i am listening to 'aerosmith-dream on' at the moment, but still -.-

Usually, my gut feeling is not bad.

The 30 chapters i claimed might be wishful thinking tho, depending on how togashi's back is doing.

You're basing it on absolutely nothing, even if it does happen it's nothing more than a lucky coincidence. If you genuinely believe in what you're saying, you're in for one helluva disappointment
