There are so many possibilities, because HxH does in fact have pretty interesting sidecharacters.

It would have to be something tho that does not interfere with togashi's writing.
For example, a spider series would be hard to do without doing that.

People could talk with togashi about which characters will not receive flashbacks and then go for it tho.

My ideas, besides biscuit and netero:

Hanzo-rise of a ninja
Kikyo and Silva, a romance in 5 acts (Oh silva -chan! U kill people too? THAT'S SO HOT!)
Menchi's perfect meal
Zuki-god of heaven arena

Also, am i the only one who thinks the Zoldyeks could basically be sitcom characters in the right setting?
Some dark black adder like comedy about twisted affection and killing butlers for no reason.

They'd be killing people and always reminding you that they don't actually enjoy killing people and that killing people for no pay/reason is a bad risk versus reward proposition.

Meanwhile, bandai's last brilliant creation

Premium Bandai, Bandai's official shopping site, is taking preorders for a figure of Hisoka from Hunter × Hunter that's a little.... unorthodox.

Hisoka's crotch is lit up by pressing a switch on the figure's base. According to the model sculptor, the order called for a "fast ball" and asked for a Hisoka "so cool it will entrance female fans." The sculptor is proud of the finished product, claiming it captures Hisoka's "ominousness and beauty." The sculptor also refrained from telling their superiors about the light until the figure could be shown off in person. The sculptor says "I'll never forget their shock all my life."

LOL, That action figure is so creative, detailed and very weird. That Statue makes Hisoka look younger than I usually think he looks like he's 19-20, when I usually see him as 26-27. It's well made though, but damn this feels like a troll lol.

Yep I've rewatched it so many times. My friend that I got into HxH also rewatches it on the regular and says the same thing. There's just so much content in so many different settings with so many different and unique characters. You can tell Togashi is a big RPG fan because he is flawless at making great characters. All of my favorite RPG games from the past were my favorite for one reason : The characters and the story.... Togashi is a fucking master class in that category.

I mean seriously... just look at Meruem. He fucking bites a little girls brain in half, yet I still cried at the end of the chimera ant arc for him. Incredible. I don't even care how long this hiatus lasts because as long as Togashi continues it at ANY point, then I'll still be happy.

not only that , look at the amazing character on netero, for being able to realize that meruem was torn between ant and human and that neither side had won yet, and noticing that meruem didnt notice that the two sides were incompatible

overall just fucking genius writing

^ yep... not to mention the fact that Meruem even offered to make a secure area for humans to live in peace simply out of respect for Netero. Sure, that might sound messed up and evil on Meruems part.... but he literally could kill anyone and still makes such a statement. It's just so damn good.... that's just ONE arc, too!! Every arc has amazing depth but CA probably takes the cake.

The Yorknew arc will always be my favorite.... the original 4 plus the spiders all in one arc is just too good to be true. I hope we get back to that one day, although the prince will probably play a key role and will likely be the one to kill Kurapika at some point.

Im pretty optimistic about what the future holds for HxH, there's still plenty of story to tell and despite the hiatus, it looks like Togashi plans on continuing HxH for the foreseeable future. Kinda excited to see where it goes.
