Yeah I did, guess I'm not that much of a hardcore fan of the old series. What did you dislike?

You mean Asuka? Wasn't that more like just light from the surroundings and stuff. Was hard to tell what exactly was going on but to me it felt more like a special effect than something related to her eye.

It was only the pink, swirly shit. I guess since there's no explanation, you know?

Some of the changes are sort of confusing too. I'm not sure of the point of Mari, except introducing another cute trope into the story. Rei is kuudere, Asuka is tsundere, and Mari is sort of yandere (not really, but best explained this way). I guess he has it all covered now

Plus, changing Asuka's name? Judging by the titles he picks for these movies, he's a little too obsessed with aesthetics

Asuka Langley Shikinami, instead of Asuka Langley Soryu. Apparently it has something to do with Japanese maritime vessel naming...?

I also didn't like how Toji isn't a pilot in the movies. I didn't get that change either.

Apparently Soryu was the name of a Japanese aircraft carrier that took part in the attack on Pearl Harbor. I don't know if it was changed because of that, but the new name is also the name of a destroyer in the navy. It apparently has something to do with her being in the German air force....which makes no sense, maybe Prince can explain if he sees this.

And Ayanami (Rei) is a class of destroyer too, so that's what the naming convention is about I guess. Katsuragi (Misato) as well. Apparently all the females in the show are named after ships

Doesn't really explain the change of the name.

Did you ask something? I mentioned the place opened nearby to riki and she asked...

I like Pakistani food.

The food they serve in foreign is not even close to the taste we have here. When I visited Dubai, I tried to at ate as many cuisines as possible as there is no issue of Hilal food. Its the only place where I enjoyed food more than my own country. If you can ever visit their, I am sure you will love it too. And it was very economical too, even for our currency.

Both spellings are used. Many food can from UAE or Saudi Arabia write Hilal.

From what I was told by my uncle there and some shopkeepers, the government is ensuring availability and provision of Hilal stuff, mostly meat and poultry. You can get Non-Muslim food too. There are stores and hotels selling pork (harder to hind than alcohol), I saw a bar or two at Dubai Tennis center as well. Anyway, I was talking about eating on the go. You know, like malls, kiosks, roadside restaurants kind of stuff.

There's nothing about pork or alcohol that I couldn't live without. Both are great though. Shame. I think the law pertaining to cloven-hoofed animals is pretty antiquated and unnecessary, but I'm not going to say pork is good for you either, lol.

I should of clarified of course. I meant chewing-cud + cloven-hoofed. But that really only applies technically to Jews I guess. But I meant anything pertaining to "unclean animals". But I believe he knew what I meant. Sorry if it was misunderstood.
