Well, I'd say Hunter x Hunter is in my top 3 or 5 depending on how I work the list, I have a list for anime only and a list for anime/manga/light novels all pretty much mixed in for top 10. Plus no matter how the work is crafted I rank shows soley on my enjoyment, so if I ever made a list I'd more than likely be frowned upon or slapped with fish. Seriously you don't want to know what series battle for my number one. XD

Even still Hunter x Hunter is a great series very high on my list, I'd probably put it above one piece, though it still hasn't beat my number 1, which is soley because of my taste bias and because this, OP and another manga are my own big 3 from WSJ (F**K THE STANDARDS!)

i didn't vote. I thought it was great until it got to the ANT arc. wtf was that about. stupidest thing ever. The art and story ruined it for me, not to mention that it took 2- 4 years to end because of hiatus . it was just awful.

Let's see, where should I start...

Don't know why the art issue is brought up if that problem's been fixed ever since the release of the volumes where everything has been redrawn. I understand that if you were reading HXH during the time of the hiatuses, that art left a bad after taste that most likely distorted Togashi's intentions. I don't believe that same argument can be used again if you read it now from the beginning to the end.

How exactly is it the "stupidest thing ever" to you or what happened in the story that made you feel that way (besides the hiatus and the art)? What makes it awful in your opinion? Were the use of ethos, logos and pathos incorrectly imposed by Togashi?

Back up the things you say, because offering constructive criticism is much more appreciated than providing little or no evidence at all. I suggest re-reading it and discuss how or how it doesn't change your perceptions of the arc.

It's so hard to say at what place I would rate HxH but I think I never loved the series as much as I do now. When I first watched and read the series, I found it enjoyable and entertaining. A good manga but nothing that special. When the remake was announced I was pretty excited though, because I never was a huge fan of the old one (no offense here, it just wasn't my cup of tea). After the first episode I fangasmed and realized how much I had forgotten about the beginning of the manga. And with each episode my love grew, to a point where I reminisced about when I read the series back in the days. I realized that I just didn't put enough thoughts into the manga and how much of a fool I was my love really burnt strongly and reached a peak in the Yorknew climax - remembering the awesomeness that was Kurapika vs. Uvogin

Anyway, I think since then my love remained on the same level, I rarely was disappointed with Madhouse so I was extremely looking forward to each Sunday (that's when it airs here). Probably to an extent where I didn't even mind thought about it being the day before work/school (it's a feeling I really dislike XD) and watching the episode became my top priority after waking up. That hasn't changed, especially when I consider what's ahead of us.

That brings me to the last part. I reread parts of the Chimera Ant Arc and it was so awesome I couldn't imagine how foolish I was back when I first read it I feel like I'm part of the Hunter x Hunter church now lol. I always try to look at things from an objective point of view but man, I think it has been a very long time since I thought about a series that much and loved it to such an extent. Can't say how grateful I am to Madhouse for enlightening me

Today i think Tower of God number 1 and Magi number 2, actually i don't know the places between this two, sometimes i like Magi more than ToG... HxH was my most favorite but Togashi is soooooo lazy and that makes me sick lol because of that i guess HxH is my number 3 nowadays

its in a three way tie with one piece and dbz

with bleach naruto, dgm, yuyu and a few others somewhere up on the list

i never imagined it wold pass naruto and bleach on my list.....
