Lol he's still top tier.....Plz everybody go to the Rankng Thread I would love to see how ppl rank HxH characters..Hisoka is in the same class as Zeno,Silva,Chrollo, Razor & Moreu; The only Lv above that is DArk Continent Lv Netero,Royal Guards,Meruem, Gon-San

The Dark Continent Lv is absurd and Netero with a vastly superior ability to the ants didn't have the power to crush them...Dark Continent IMO is like a bonus stage, Plot lv...I doubt we 'll see too many characters on this lv without a plot device like Gon-San

Ging has the hype and dialogue for potentially being one of the strongest Human characters if not characters period. Netero seemed pretty sure he was stronger than him...& That's madness because Netero has an attack speed faster than 0.1 seconds
Nope. Morel is not even a fighter and he is way better than hisoka. You can't compare hisoka with razor, come on.. : |
Hisoka feats: Killed Kastro and gotoh.. such power, he's average right now.

Hisoka weaker than Morel? :blink What did he do to make you think that he is better than him? You said it yourself, Morel is not even a fighter, what he shown is that he is smart, has a versatile ability, an Aura of approximatively 70000 and a great lung capacity, the strongest opponent he killed was Leol. In terms of physical abilities and Nen mastery, he is certainly way behind Hisoka, who is a veteran fighter. Morel himself is average as a fighter, it's his intelligence that is his best weapon. And I still don't get why Hisoka can't be compared with Razor with his feats during the dodge ball game plus Razor mentioning himself that the Troupe members were strong.

Netero didn't say that Ging was stronger than him in direct words (even tho Netero is full of it because he said the Morel was stronger *laughter*) Netero mentions that he 'used' to be in the group of top Nen users in the world. And Ging is currently in the group of Top nen users in the world. If Netero used to. And Ging is currently in... I mean just elementary logic makes me assume that Ging is in some shape better in usage of nen than Netero. However, using nen =/= better fighter, so the jury is debatable there, but i think Ging is probably above Netero's Tier. Or at the very least, can go toe to to with the Old man.

And honestly Hisoka vs Morel is a fight I'd pay to see.

All aboard hisoka hype train :derp
Doing a lot against RG with 30% of his power is a great feat IMO.
Hisoka challenged netero, that tells me he is dumb and doesn't read opponents quite well.
His hatsu is super flexible, but he depends a lot on his physical strengh and speed, wich aren't that great at this point : /
He lacks feats, he is all about the hype.

I really do not think ging could have gone into an even fight with netero.
Ging does not strike me as te fighting type, tho he is incredibly strong, while netero is all about fighting.

Netero is faster than anyone who we have seen, even meruem. It is safe to assume he is faster than ging, and ging cannot withstand netero's hands because he is human and not ant, at least if he does not have an ability shielding him.

As a metaphor: I see ging as the versatile type. Netero can fight better than anyone else, but ging can fight, dance, to athletics and any other sport on a top level

This is a good theory, but considering the level of knowledge Ging has about nen I wouldn't be surprised if he is a top tier fighter like netero.
The thing about fighting Netero is that Hyakushiki Kannon doesn't have a counter. You can't even move, think or cast your aura that you would be already smashed if you're a human.

Netero isn't faster than Meruem... He has literally one motion. 1. That is quicker than Meruem. Even then, once meruem got used to the actions of his Hatsu. It wasn't fast enough. The only character 'faster' than Meruem is perhaps God Speed Killua. But even then it's a stretch because Meruem is naturally fast, and didn't even use a hatsu to increase his physical limits like Killua. Kill would lose in a long term stamina situation vs Meruem because of that very fact.

Ging shows an aptitude for analyzing and replicating nen techniques. It's very possible that his ability is similar to Chrollo's. Except Ging learns abilities, while Chrollo 'steals'. He is really good at predicting the actions of someone based on their mental patterns (he basically played the Zodiacs in the Chairman arc, and even the Rat Zodiac at the time knew that if he went against Ging, he'd lose). Showing he's a great strategist at the very least.

From what i gather, and the hype train that follows him, plus what little we've seen. I'd say Ging might actually be a good match vs the Chairman. Maybe not him during his prime, but certainly him when he fought Meruem.

It is almost impossible for Ging to not a fighter from what we know of him in the story and I am pretty sure he is stronger than Netero, if we consider raw talent alone he is miles above him.

Netero is confirmed fastest only when it comes to hand motions and though HK is a deadly weapon it all comes to how you use Nen and your fighting style, Meruem would have killed him quickly with a long range attack. Of course you won't be able able to beat him if you have not the Nen skills necessary for that but if you are at this level with good use of Hatsu it is not impossible, plenty of people displayed abilities able to hit him, it's not that complicated, there are plenty of ways to hit him with basic usage of Nen depending on how you use it.

Killua is fast but Denkosekka wastes his energy, I would not say that he is faster than Meruem too, who moved at lightspeed to capture Meleoron/Knuckle, even if it was after using En and we have already 2 other characters able to match his running speed, Cheetu and Tsubone but Killua is the character with the fastest reaction time by far.

This is a good theory, but considering the level of knowledge Ging has about nen I wouldn't be surprised if he is a top tier fighter like netero.

You can, moving your Aura can be done much faster than moving your body, it depends on your training , Meruem was thinking too.

Morel and Hisoka are on the same level in the sense of they are both nen masters, proven by their both so very versatile Hatsu ability. Morel has shown great endurance never really resting during the Chimera mission and faced RG's without his full power.
They differ however in Combat prowness , Skill, combat experience, Cunningness which Hisoka excelles at.....

Hisoka isn't stupid for challenging Netero....Was Gon stupid to continue to chase the president for the ball ? Hisoka likes a challenges and who better to challenge than Netero??? Also who said Neteeo would engage in a death math against Hisoka he would want him to chase him around trying to beat him, that's how Netero is....

How strong do people consider the Spiders??? You know like the offesive types

If Hisoka attacked Netero, other Hunters in the exam could interfere. That was the whole point of him being alone with Kuroro.

Firstly. Morel is at least in Hisoka's ball park. I might actually say he might be close to beating Hisoka when you consider he did the whole mission vs the RGs on 30% rest. The fatigue affected more than his Aura compacity and physical prowless. He was probably mentally drained and making inefficient moves vs. himself when he's well rested . But that's debatable. The Chairman would grind Hisoka to dust. I'm sorry. I just DO NOT see bungie gum helping him against almost 100 blows a second with the force and ability to even send Meruem flying.

As for the Spiders: Can't say for sure, as most of them haven't had their skills and abilities fleshed out alot (Looking forward to Kurapika vs the Troupe part 2... its gonna happen eventually)

But from what i gather:

Offensive Spiders are Nobunaga, Feitan, Bonolenov, Franklin, Phinks, and Uvogin. Rest serve a special function with their nen, even though they are fully capable of fighting themselves.

We know Nobunaga is a certifiable swordsman master who uses a quick draw blade style with the assistance of En. Honestly unless he has a great Hatsu (which he by all means does) he isn't that scary based on what little we've seen. Feitan, however, is a bonafided bad ass. Not only is he a swordsman master capable of keeping up with a Chimera Ant (Granted it was just a captain), but on top of being a good head-on combatant, he is able to flip the damage that you deal to him with his Hatsu and make you pay. So win the fight or lose the fight, he still takes a chunk out of his enemies.

Bonolenov, doesn't seem that strong compared to the rest. So far we've only seen that he fights with sound waves and can materialize(?) a semi solid orb with his aura when he dances to crush enemies. Franklin seems like your standard ranged character so far. Phinks has an interesting skill with the wind up punch, wonder how the full potential of that Hatsu plays out. And Uvogin was a beast. We've seen the most display of power out of him and he was legitimately a scary opponent. If Kurapika didn't have that covenant on his life to power him up, he would've been grinded 8x over by Uvo.

Don't forget Shalnark! He literally goes SSJ and says afterwords that he will have body cramps for a few days. We also know that Togashi and Toriyama like to tease each other, so I wouldn't be surprised if Shalnark goes SSJ3 or higher whenever he has a serious battle (in 2024). I can't wait to see more of Chrollo in the future.

Oh right! Honestly didn't count Shalnark because his skill seemed to be used more for tricking people and getting info rather than being a front line fighter. And i agree, we haven't even seen half of their Hatsu's and Chrollo is definitely a heavy contender.

To be honest the power scales are really skrewed, we didn't even see the full potential of any of the Royal Guards or Meruem. We just assume from what little we've seen.

No he wouldn't. Old Netero needed a month of meditation prep to gather the energy to bring out the bodhisattva. If Hisoka would have fought him at the hunter exams he would only have his hand to hand nen fighting skills to combat Hisoka (if he has no other hatsu).

Also Morel is definitely just as strong as Hisoka, they both seem about even.

Eh we saw enough to know they are probably around the same level as the top 5 nen users if not stronger (definitely stronger in meruems case).

i assume that this short moment of meditation was shorter than the time which hisoka woud have
needed to reach him. We saw a ot of things slower than they actually happened.

Actually he was meditating to store up Aura as ammo for Zero Hand, the normal bodhisattva doesn't need such a hefty cost. Not sure if the HxH movie can be considered cannon(at least as far as abilities go) but it takes him no time at all to deploy the technique. Just think about his position as the head of the hunter association, he'd be next to useless if he had to sit down and meditate for days at a time to reach his peak.

Secondly, we all know hisoka, if the chairman HAD to mediate to reach his potential, hisoka would patiently wait the couple of days and take him on when he's at the peak. Sort of how he's willing to wait YEARS for Gon to reach his.

Also just a side note, why is Bodhisattva considered an Enhancement technique? It seems much more like a Conjuration + Manipulation? I mean creating a golden statue and using it to fight enemies?

Bodhisattva is an Emitter move, because he changes his aura to it, just like Killua changes his aura into lightning. If it were conjuration, then he would create it and then summon it at will, but it would be static. With Emission, however, the Bodhisattva depends on your current aura properties, it is dynamic, therefore he trained to raise his actualized aura amount to bring out the Bodhisattva and/or polish the quality of his aura to increase the quality of the Bodhisattva itself.

The moves themselves are an Enhancement, because they directly influence the properties of the already existing Bodhisattva (increase range, increase damage etc.)

All Nen categories can be mixed into your Hatsu.
Netero is an enhancer who developed a Hatsu where he barely has to move and is capable of hitting you from a distance with probably nearly or maybe the same force of his fist and just as fast as his fist;this doesn't dispel his natural enhancer abilities. He"ll still be a bad as enhancer as they strength is hardening or powering up per say but. Netero's Statue and its hand & palm strikes arm pure Nen. As Long as he prays he can form and give shape to his Nen as a budda God and then strike whoever regardless of range and it happens ridiculously fast without auto-shield, auto-counter or super high durability I can't see someone winning against Netero.

Killua & Hisoka are transmutters. They change their aura to take on properties...Hisoka can also use emission..emission is producing or separating aura from your body for an extended period of time..when Hisoka fought Zoldyxk bodyguard he emitted his bungee gum all over the floor..or when he left bungee gum on the volleyball so Razor couldn't deflect it..

Great Hatsu's should allow you to use more than one affinity of Nen to your liking or circumstance...Ex.Zeno a transmuter who can also emit his Nen to fly on or use as rain shower.

Actually when Hisoka fought Kastro in the Tournament arc, it was explained that Kastro's ability (to make a clone of himself) is Conjuration + Manipulation. Even tho he was an enhancer he created a clone of himself, manipulated it and enhanced it to fight similarly to the real him.

Which is why Netero's seems more like Conjuration (Building a form out of nen) and Manipulation (Controlling its actions) and enhancing the actions through his normal nen state. I just can't help but think it's weird that officially the technique is only listed as 'Enhancer'.

But that just makes me think that if Netero's technique was actually the product of him training in nen fields outside of his natural then does that mean he wasn't at his 100%? If he trained strictly in Enhancer and made mostly body related techniques that he trained into oblivion, could he have taken on Meruem?

Netero being an Enhancer and having a technique like that makes no sense IMO. It's only said that he is an Enhancer in a databook, and some infos were wrong in it.

HK is a mix of Emission, Enhancement and Manipulation.

Emitters have 80% in both Enhancement and Manipulation, it's the perfect Nen category for this.

He would not need to meditate to use his Hatsu but there are plenty of things you can do with Bungee Gum. Activating HK is not an instant win.
