I completely agree. I think we'll have a separate opening for when we start the Yorknew arc.

Most likely. It wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to have a Yorknew Opening when
we're not going to see the Yorknew Arc for probably three months.

Plus I want the new opening to focus on Heavens Arena. A hint towards Yorknew is fine
but I don't want a Yorknew Opening just yet.

A Heavens Arena ought have more of Master Wing, Zushi and Nen.

A Heavens Arena ought have more of Master Wing, Zushi and Nen.

The shot of HA at the beginning. Main characters running towards HA. Not even mentioning Gon vs Hisoka fight, that was pure HA opening, I even though they would finish HA until episode 26.
Wing, Zushi and others might be in the new opening. But I don't think it will be centered on them.

^ I agree and hope thats how it goes. Maybe have the intro only last like 13 episodes then transition to an amazing Yorknew open that has hints to greed island, which is perfect since Greed Island is being set up throughout Yorknew arc.

The latest episode was OK, but it could've been better.

I guess I can put up with Canary suddenly knowing a technique (the one with the afterimages) exclusive for assassins, even though it made very little sense. I don't even mind much them stating she's from Ryuusegai even though it came out of nowhere... But my main complain is about the Genei Ryodan mention, particularily about the fact that they're from Ryuuseigai. It was supposed to be a BIG revelation in the York Shin arc! It was the very reason the mafia stopped trying to catch them even after everything they've done, for crying out loud! Yet the cat got let out of the bag so early and at such an absolutely unfitting moment... messing up such a significant piece of info... sigh...

But now I feel slightly more assured there'll be a new opening for the York Shin arc because of the way HunterxHunter Treasure volumes are divided: 1 - Hunter Exam, 2 - Heavens' Arena, 3+4 - York Shin, 5+6 - Greed Island. That is, Heaven's Arena had enough content to get a separate volume.

The rhythm echo is not exclusive to assassins. Netero says it is an assassination
technique but also tells Gon that is is "mainly used by outlaws" and wasn't
something a nice kid like Gon should learn.

So I see no problem with Canary using it. Especially if she's from a place like Meteor City.

And I don't think it was much of a spoiler. I mean York New City arc is far off and
a lot of people are going to forget about this "spoiler" by the time we get that far.

A real spoiler would be if Canary said "Netero has a son. His name is Beyond. He wants to go to the Outside but Cheadle and the rest of the Zodiac are trying to hunt him down."

Killua "Wait what?"

Canary filler was awesome. Her fight was very well animated though that shouldn't come as much of a surprise after seeing how Madhouse has animated fights so far. The colours and lighting were great in this episode, especially during Silva's talk with Killua. And is it just me or does the voice actress who does Kikyos voice do a fantastic job voicing the character? I love how she delivered her line when she bid farewell to Gon and co. And her hysterics were awesome!

I read this in Hunterpedia.

"Canary and Gotoh
A character book published in 2001 revealed that both Canary and Gotoh originated from Meteor City. In the 2011 anime series, she also tells Killua that if he ever wishes to visit some day, that she will happily act as his guide."

They did say that Togashi is invovled in this. Thank you beans, this makes me think one of the next destinations of Killua in the manga is indeed Meteor City, I just hope it's together with Gon (since it's seems natural for them join in on that to gather info on the alien quest).

Given that Gyro is supposed to be in Meteor City I say it's pretty much a guarantee
that Meteor City will play a MAJOR role in upcoming chapters of Hunter x Hunter.

I'm just wondering if the Spiders will join up with Gyro?

@Bean-I won't trust that info though.Changes are always make at that site.Gon's age has been changed countless time from 12 to 13/14.I was at the site yesterday and I didn't even see that info.There was no references to where they get this info from,I can't even find this character book that was published in 2001 on the internet.

Gotoh: 182cm, 61kg, blood A, birthplace Meteor City, head butler of the Zoldycks, has been working for the family for a long time, loves Killua as if he's his own son.
