Aura definitely has different colors. Pokkle's ability insinuates this, alongside the black auras of the Royal Guards--Pouf's especially.

I always pictured Gon to have a green aura, Killua a blue one, Kurapika a red, and Leorio a yellow. Hisoka's is definitely pink.

I hope at first we DON'T fully see the nen until Gon and Killua learn Gyo or the nen is just that intense.

I think ten should have a sorta plasma like substance to it and ren should be like fire.

For Gyo the eyes should look intense and fiery. As if there eyes are like light bulbs.
The manga always seemed to give a very intense feel. Especially when Zushi first
uses it. His eyes look like they are on fire and not just a simple glow.

I think for before they get Gyo, Nen should appear as a sorta heat wave refraction effect
except it's REALLY intense and disorienting.

I'm not sure agree, but not sure. It's not like you CAN't see Nen with Gyo. I assume Leorio could see how awesome Uvogin's aura is even without Gyo. Just to give an example.

These are definitely the colours I imagined. I also imagined that that Netero's nen colour is golden.

I don't mean entirely blind to nen. But Gyo should show a MAJOR difference.

and of course if the aura is intense enough it should be seen by anyone.

When Wing opens the nodes in Gon and Killua they are then able to see the aura.
But before that they describe it as an invisible force which is why I think a heat wave
refraction would be good for when they aren't using Gyo (or their nodes are released).

Anyone should be able to tell something is there but you should need Gyo to see exactly what.

Though this is mostly for ten.


Ren might be intense enough (depending on the user) to just be plainly seen.

I think they did ok with Zebro. Why? Because being too obvious would defeat the surprise for new watchers later. Also let's remember Togashi in that time started to develop the concept, so that much aura might be an exaggeration. More if we take in account the time used to gather aura and the final result.

Yea that's spot on. Hmm if you think about it, each of our leads uses different aura types, so maybe each of the six groups can be semi represented by different Aura colors. That'd be interesting. We can ponder away at this forever can't we? The new episode cannot come quickly enough for me!!

That wouldn't work. Remember, it's actually hard to figure out what type each user is by just looking so color must not be an indicative for it.

Oh you're right, that might ruin the surprise element. I forgot, I still wanna know what Gotoh, Knuckle and the ShadowBeasts aura types are. Any good guesses?

We don't see anything in the manga, just the same thing that happened when Illumi "pointed" at Killua. Don't remember how that was in the 99 series, but I assume nothing was shown either.

The Second Hunter x Hunter Original Soundtrack will be released May 23.

I'll do a translation of the tracks as soon as possible. I'm pretty excited to hear "Requiem Aranea," which almost surely is the song that will be played during Chrollo's conducting scene. "The Mad Bailaor" seems to be another theme for Hisoka.

For those of you worried about the future of the music in HxH, here are some words from the composer himself (Yoshihisa Hirano) from his own BBS:

From the titles, the tracks looks promising. I hope they'll be suuuuuper awesome.
There is also one track's title in french "La valse des Garçons" . I wonder what is it for ?
It seems that we will get a new theme for Hisoka. I like the previous one, but i wish that this new will be more great.

Can't wait for the new opening and ending. I hope the second version of departure is a total different song.
I would be disappointed if not.
