I'm thinking that Gon won't reach his goal of bringing Kaito back. So this meshes well with other characters that are ants and shouldn't be, in a way.

Here's what I think: whenever there's a vampire story, if you kill the main vampire, the others will revert and become humans again. So perhaps upon Meruem's defeat, the current ants will become humans again, and so will Palm, Meleoron, "Octopus", and Pitoo as well. And that will happen after Komugi is healed, but before Kaito gets the chance to be cured.

This way, Gon will have to settle for having Palm back, but not Kaito. The best thing he'll do for Kaito is releasing him from that state. Reverting death isn't something to be achieved this easily in the story. Upon reverting, the ants will lose their unworthy bogus power, and balance will be achieved once again.

I always was under the impression that kyte has been long dead and there is no way to bring him back.

He was actually decapitated. I guess that guy used his weird healing ability turn him into a zombie but seeing this it seems as if there is nothing to bring back from kyte.

Kaito's dead. I think what Gon wants now is to give Kaito a proper rest (or burial).

Anyone thinks Palm will revert to her normal mind once Novu talks her down?

i think palm will revert to her normal mind if Novu appears.. still not sure what she wants right now - like i said before Gon as a target is just plain odd unless she really likes him?

I can't help but wonder whether palm is acting like this due to being transformed or she simply is acting on her own regular impulses. It's not like she wasn't a crazy murderous bitch before right?

I don't think gon wants to give kaito a proper burial, he actually wants to bring him back. He really believes he is properly alive. I doubt that is even close to the case though. Gon is simply to immature to realize kaito is dead.

well anything is possible.... the cat girl is fixing the internal orgams (so it seems) or that injured girl. The question is if Kaito will take his own life after looking at his new body?

Can anyone confirm if Bonolenov's number in the Spider is actually 13? I've seen him being classified as number 13 on wikipedia, but i have no idea which chapter that is revealed in...

プフがナックルにこれまでの状況を説明するが
ナックルが問答無用でプフを殴る。
理由は「面だけ見て一発でゲスだとわかったから」
プフは心外だと訴えるがポットクリンが発動しないのに気づいたナックル。
過去の経験から殴ったのにポットクリンが発動しないパターンは
念で出来た生き物を殴ったときらしい。
再び「表にでろ」とナックル。
ゴンとピトーは終始無言。

キルアがパームの攻撃をガードしながら
この状況は「ペナルティ」だと自分に言い聞かせる。
イカルゴの為とはいえゴンを見捨ててしまった事の罰がいま自分に降りかかってると考える。
「おそらく今回の作戦で最も最悪な役割」（パームを殺すこと？）がまわってきたと考えるキルア。
それでも一度だけチャンスをくれと自分に言った後、パームに質問をする。
「ゴンに会ってどうするの？」
キルアとパーム、しばらく無言で見つめ合った後に
「食う」（お尻から）
とパームがニヤつきながら言う。
（やっぱりな）とキルア
いきなり電撃で吹っ飛ぶパーム、神速を発動したキルアが「させねぇよ」と睨む
パーム、自分の右腕がぐにゃぐにゃに曲がってるのに気づく。

Narration: Within the aura so atrocious it made your body feel like like it would fall apart from how much it trembled

Oh wow.... I really feel it for Killua, this manga truly has everything a shonen manga needs.

Not only that, but that's the kind of friendship/brotherhood that anyone (at least someone like me) would admire. You just don't see that kind of relationship anymore, not even in little kids.

Anyways, I give this chapter an A++++, not only because we see the development that the character of Killua has, an explanation of what happened to the girl and some nice fighting scenes, but also because it has a message.

Another quality chapter...

I love how we saw the second side of Killua in this chapter, last week we saw the side we are usually used to seeing; the guy who can analyse and dissect a situation and come up with a cold calculated solution within a few seconds. The trained killer if you will.

And this chapter we got to see that even with everything he has done and experienced, he can still just be a innocent child worried about his friend. Love the writing and how the plot is moving forward through all the twists and turns.

One of the few shounen manga's that don't just deal with black and white scenarios and characters.

Dunno.... while I love this manga I find it hard to enjoy knowing it is practically a fact there will be a hiatus ass soon as this complete volume is released. The fighting, narration and stile is awesome but I can't help but want this arc to end so that we can see other loved characters. WTH happened to lucifer? Where is hisoka -our favorite pedophile-? Did leorio develop a special technique? What are the effects of kurapica's remaining chains? If the mangaka keeps this hiatus crap then the manga will get a decent ending around 150 years from now. He could give the manga a massively abrupt ending like he did with yuyuhakusho -real shame, I wanted to see yusuke kick more ass- though. I don't care if the mangaka is doing the sailor moon woman or jacking of to whatever she draws, I want to see plot development!

Remember, the main focus of HxH is Gon. Side stories are only bonuses.

i think if it werent for the hiatuses we would see more. But the thing is Shonen jump is putting up with him on hiatuses so that prob means he is too important to lose and also he is making enough to "afford" the hiatuses

True enough. I don't think most manga's would survive more than a couple months worth of hiatus.

Perhaps Jump is saving him for whenever Kubo Tite ends Bleach. Right now that manga is going down the drain, I think they'll want to finish it asap and put Togashi back on full-time, in Bleach's former position. Perhaps they thought it was too much to have One Piece, Naruto, Bleach and HxH at the same time, so they gave Togashi a vacation to postpone HxH till whenever some of the other ones end.

I'm betting we have a lot to focus on in the future. Senritsu will recover its body someday, and join the main group with its specialization Nen. Same for Eagle's apprentice, that will at some point become suddenly good at his manipulation Nen and join the main characters. Leorio will become a MD, and use his emission Nen to heal people's bodies without opening them, combined with medical skills. And finally, Kurapica will find constructive ways to use his materialization Nen, independently from the spiders' fate.

These 6 friends will make a group of each speciality in a future quest somehow. It's been hinted, and I know it's going to happen.
Gon -> Intensification
Killua -> Transformation
Leorio -> Emission
Kurapica -> Materialization
Senritsu -> Specialization
Zushi -> Manipulation

Fits too well to be a lie! ^^

Not to burst your bubble, but remember when Togashi brought back the other Hunter Exam passer(s) just to give the ants their ability to use nen?

IMO if Togashi intends to bring back any background characters it would be to set up the main arc's antagonist to have a greater advantage in battle.

im tired of the Ten Weeks of Manga than Eight to Twenty Months Hiatus
