Wish there was a thread where fights between HH characters could be discussed... I always wondered how bisk would fare against members of the ryodan-she seems to be on the level IMHO-.

Honestly, all things considered, ryodan seems pretty weak / sub-par. They're stronger than average nen-users, sure... but that's about it. They're nowhere near the top (with the exception of Kuroro).

well i think there are some, who are near the top, at least fei tang, phinx and nobunaga are there for battles, even the guy with the handy could make some trouble in his modes

and shizuku could be very broken if she learns to suck nen with her cleaner

I admit they need setting up to reach full strength, but to call them sub-par? I don't think so.

My impression of the ryodan was that all members (except killua's sister) are high level nen users, basically top notch. Obviously defeating the king, royal guards or netero on their own seems to be out of question but then again those guys have a league of their own. Perhaps they could surprise us and be capable of defeating a RG member on their own though -depending on the member and skill they posses-.

The Ryodan works as a perfect team, together they build the Spider.

One part alone is not as powerfull as all together where every member could play out his strengh.

Obviously thr ryodan as a team would be brutal but I was comenting on each of them individually. I don't really think, for instance, that gon or killua would be anywhere near them right now. They might be capable of putting a fight (which they could not do before) but in the end they would fall without getting them to even use their full strength. I remember a time when killua refered to two members as "two hisoka's". Even murau (who seems to be the strongest nen user among the ones fighting the ants except for netero) would have a extremely hard time against them.

Most of the Ryodan prefer to fight alone. Have we ever really seen them fight as a team before...?

Either way, they seemed to have very little trouble when they fought the chimaera ants, even Feitan never really got in a pinch in his duel with the "ant queen." If you compare that to the amount of trouble someone like Morau had to go through in dealing with several ant generals (and his unfinished fights with the royal guards), it would appear that the Ryodan are somewhere at his level, at the very least, in individual battle skill.

Well, in the end it was implied feitan did not even go all put against the queen -he commented on that-. Once he did use his ability he had the entire ryodan on the run and the queen died a pretty nasty and painful death. It was also implied the guy even had several other abilities about as destructive. Murau would probably comparable to them though, he does seem to be what would be considered a high level hunter.

I think that the Ryodan are like NAVY seals, or any other amazing part of the military. One of them alone can kill you in many different ways, together they can destory cities!!!!!!
Can you tell me the chapter they fight the ants???
I cant wait till this Ant arc ends and we see Ryodan against the world!!

We personally have never seen them fight as a team. Nobunaga has said many times before that him and Uvo were partners in fights a lot.

As for the Ryodan in terms of strength for whatever reason, I still stand by a good portion of them being a cut above the rest from a lot of Hunters. Obviously there are quite a few who will fall short of that mark. Setting aside Chrollo, I think Feitan, Nobunaga, and Phincks are the ones cut above the rest. Machi and Bono are probably just a bit short of that. Bono is really hard to judge because it seems like his powers are very vague (to me at least), so he might actually fall in the bottom. Kortopi, Shizuku, and Shalnark would rank among the bottom. Shalnark would be mid tier if he were more athletic. Franklin I really don't want to place anywhere, because we don't really know much about his powers. He can shoot bullets from his fingertips. That's about it. And we got unknown new member, if they decide to fill Uvo's spot, which I'm assuming they will. Maybe with the nen remover? Oh yeah, and they got to fill in Paku's spot still too.

Killua's sibling also has the potential to be at top tier, since they accepted him/her (I never even know it's gender anymore...) at such a young age (younger than Gon and Killua, fo'sho). So we'll just toss him/her in the middle.

So without all the extra dialogue:

Top: Feitan, Nobunaga, Phincks.
Mid: Machi, Bono, Kalluto.
Low: Kortopi, Shizuku, Shalnark.

TBD: Franklin. And whoever they pick to fill in Uvo's spot (if anyone), as well as Paku's replacement.

So, it seems rather equal. And of course Chrollo would be in a whole other tier, and Hisoka too if he were an actual Spider.

Kalluto admitted being more than significantly weaker than all of the ryodan though. I don't think any of them are weak in any way though. Any of them would completely trash killua and gon IMO (gon and killua were said to have nen comparable to middle level hunters)

Eh. Yeah, I guess. I forgot about that statement. Guess I figured that if you're part of the Zoldyck family, you're basically almost better than most, haha! But yeah. I never really called any of the members of the Ryodan specifically weak. I just placed them in tiers within their group. It doesn't doubt me that Shizuku would win in a one-on-one against Killua or Gon. The only one that would probably lose would be Kortopi...since all it does...is replicate, I guess. Not really useful. Good for thievery, not for fighting, methinks.

Bono would definitely be on a one-man army level. I find it kinda interesting whenever I recall the reason Kalluto joined the Ryodan. Remember the missing Zaoldyeck sibling? There were 5 of them, but so far only 4 were introduced. Kalluto wants to find this 'brother'.

^ Yeah, that was the reason. We only saw the other sibling in a photo, so we don't know much about him. Just that he exists and left the family for unknown reasons. One day to be told.

I just hope Togashi doesn't introduce a ton of characters and just leave them unfulfilled. We've got all of these characters in this arc, but we have a lot more. We'll see Kurapika, Leorio, Hisoka, etc., again, but there's others too. I'd personally like to see Hanzo again. He was mentioned that he was learning nen, but that was it. Oh well. I have faith in Togashi. He usually treats his minor characters well.

So, I wonder who will fill in Netero's position. Someone from the Organization? Or someone completely different, perhaps?

(And about Bono..he's still a mystery to me. I wish we could have gotten a look at his powers during the Yorkshin Arc, rather than a small bit fighting an Ant.)

Well, his strength may have been implied back at the Yorkshin Arc - he was chosen to become one of Kuroro's guards.

I have always wondered what nen type gin is. He has shown to be the asshole type on one hand -won't meet gon, made greed island, seems a tad deceiftful- so by hisoka's logic he might be a transmutation. On the other hand, those things could simply be the result of some absurd form of simple mindness and purity so perhaps he is also a reinforcement. Hopefully we will find anytime soon within the next 10 years. On another note, I am the only one who was severely confused as to what was the difference between emission and conjuration? Until the 11th time I read the manga I was kinda confused lol.

Kirua dodges : it looks like he's aiming at Komugi.

Kirua makes her pass out, his nen could kill her (something like that)
Pufu goes back to a normal human size and charges Kirua, but Kirua strikes.
One eye and maybe one of his hand are scrapped off, Pufu is shocked.
If the king and my original body were to enter...
Meanwhile the king arrives at the palace. He asks why is everything destroyed.
But more importantly "What is it that I can't seem to remember ?". Mentally strained, he enters the room.
He sees the game board..
Fearing the king could remember something from the board, little Pufu flies after the king and enters the room.
The last page is Gon and Nefel arriving.

Temendo che il Re possa ricordare tutto vedendo la tavola da gioco il piccolo Pufu vola nella stanza insieme al re.
Nell'ultima pagina NefelPitou e Gon sono arrivati a Peinjin.
