HxH has too many. There is no way that the series will end in 100 chapters. That would be rushed too much. Kurapika still has his entire sub-storyline to go through. Gon still needs to find daddy, and Hisoka needs to "pick" Gon and Killua when they're ripe.

Yep. It sure does!! You didn't evenmetion Leorio's progression. Oh!!!! maybe he can revive Kaito. i haven't seen a resurrection ability in this series yet. I hope there is one.

I hope there isn't. Resurrection is one of the worst things manga can get. Once someone is brought back from the dead reader won't be afraid anymore that some characters can die and if someone ends up dying anyway I would only think it was stupid. In Yuu Yuu Hakusho it was a different story though.

Well, I have a theory that each arc in HxH will be dedicated to one of the 7 sins. Kurapica's wrath against the Ryodan. Greed Island. The King is obviously Pride, the center of the universe becoming humble due to Komugi or others' efforts. I don't know what would be the Hunter Exam about (perhaps Sloth), but every arc seems to have a main theme connected to that.

So, that leaves us 3 more arcs at least. Perhaps we'll get one about Lust, one about Envy and one about Gluttony. It's not a FMA copy, it's just that turns out these are mankind's addictions, and Gon becoming an equal to his father probably requires that he beats every single one of these aspects first.

1- He beats Sloth by conquering the marathons and never ending trials in the Hunter Exam;
2- He calmed Kurapica, ending his wrath cycle and leading Kurapica in a better direction, instead of still seeking revenge on the Ryodan;
3- He was contempt with just playing Greed Island, so he beat the game instead of endlessly disputing with other players for what they had, and that's why he won;
4- He was humble when asking for just Kaito's life in return, and now he'll show how strong he is for being so true to his emotions and keeping his ambitions to the essential (instead of wanting the world and being shallow, like the King).

Gon and Killua will have a superb growth in this arc, and then we'll have 3 others. Mark my words!!

wow i really like this idea and would be pleased if it were true. well i really can't see hxh ending now, it's too soon. and as many ppl said there are still a lot of things left unresolved. this being one of my fave manga i really hope it doesn't end soon anyway XDD oh btw this chapter was awesome. i really felt so sorry for gon i wonder what will happen next i seriously can't wait!!!

That's actually a pretty interesting notion. I like it.

I hope there isn't. Resurrection is one of the worst things manga can get. Once someone is brought back from the dead reader won't be afraid anymore that some characters can die and if someone ends up dying anyway I would only think it was stupid. In Yuu Yuu Hakusho it was a different story though.

I agree, but as long as it can be maintained and not broken, it can work out well. Kinda like how they did in FMA. Something of equal exchange must be given.

I'm kind of annoyed when I wait a whole week for the new chapter and read through the 19 pages expecting it to be 200 pages HAHA! MORE MORE MORE!

I suppose I could go back and read the raws from the start of this arc... it's been awhile anyway.

Because it's one of the most used cliches in manga. And HxH has done rather well on staying away from pretty typical cliches.


Besides, remember Kurapika's nen tutor? He said revenge will get someone nowhere, which is true. I honestly see that as foreshadowing, and I can see Kurapika losing his life in his crusade to eliminate the Spiders. Kinda off-topic on the last part. But the second sentence is what I was going for.

Actually Kurapica wouldn't be off topic with the whole cliche of emotional power up. Considering that it was his extreme emotions of hatred and wanting revenge against the Spider's that helped him to awaken his specialization ability. Then you have Yupi who also received a power up when he awakened to extreme emotions as well. Now you have Gon... Meaning its not necessarily unprecedented for the series to fall into the same trap. However, Togashi did manage to balance out Kurapica's power up by putting limitations to it. Yupi on the otherhand wasn't balanced out and from the looks of it maybe Gon won't have limitations as well, but then again with these two cases its not as if they've refined their abilities the way Kurapica has.

I was pretty off with this chapter Guess Pitou remains a creepy unthinking follower of the King who doesn't appear to have discovered emotions as of yet, unlike the other two guards. I am surprised that Pitou has another ability besides Dr. Blythe though.

Yo guys, had a crazy thought in the shower. what about Gons Mum and Gons friggin powerful Nen? Could it be possible that Gons Mum was materialized with Nen? We know what Kurapika can do with Restricments und we know some people can create People with Nen... lets have an strong Nenuser... Ging as an example (^^) would it be possible to create a woman with nen, that can become pregnant?
Well we dont know anything about Gons Mum, but in every arc we learned something about Gon or Nen. Even in Greed Island there were some "NPC" real people created with Nen.

So my theory is Gon is the son of Ging + a nen materialized woman, which gives him extremly powerful Nen.

Besides from that, anyone else loves how Killiuah was first the bad person und Gon the nice? The places are shifting slowly. ^^

HxH is so unpredictable and that's why we love it! It's really satisfying that every chapter since the return of the hiatus had been so surprising yet makes perfect sense.

Pitou showed her second ability when Netero was free falling from the sky at the beginning of the assault to the palace, it's just that Netero's punch was too fast to have revealed the actual image of Pitou's second ability.

I think logically Gon should not be able to defeat Pitou even though he is super pissed right now, I just don't think it's Togashi's style; but you know what, upon further review, I don't care how the story turns out because as far as the series is going, the plot had not disappointed; although we are missing actions from Hisoka/Chrollo&Spiders/Kurapica/Leorio(sp), it's still a good show!
