I don't think the tankoboton versions have been scanlated. Just the versions as they were published in Jump.

I also never saw the reprinted version of Hunter X Hunter Chapters online. Just the poor Version wich was released in jump.
But i bought the Manga volumes, so i dont need that anymore.

Decided to read Hunter X Hunter recently cuz a lot of people see HxH as one of the best shounens out there, so i decided that it wouldn't hurt to give a try. And one more thing that made me want to read it more is the fact that it seems that the Hiatus is finally over in August, so hopefully i am going to follow it weekly for a lot of time. Though i have only started it at couple of days ago, i am already at chapter 160. There has been some moments, that some better development or a better art would have been better, but there are also some moments that are pretty epic and very well done. It's without a doubt a very interesting manga, and it won't take me much time to catch up with it.
Hopefully there won't be more Hiatus for now on.
And by the way, Bleach being in the "Big 3" when we have a manga like this ? No way

About that i can't really disagree. Based on the mangas i have read so far that are currently published on WSJ, Naruto && One Piece && Hunter X Hunter, are clearly the ones that for me eventually deserve more popularity.
But if Hunter X Hunter doesn't continue much time on Hiatus, it will be nice cuz i will create a bit more competition and also it would be better for us
I hope that this time the author finish everything without taking another break

I am glad that i am seeing someone new trying the manga i always say to friends or family members of mine who read mangas too they should try hunter x hunter but they never give it a chance what makes me a bit sad because Hunter X Hunter is just epic and its worth to be read it think

TN: a sales stand looks like this while a shelf tookaa (no idea what the english name is) is something you can "wrap" around your volumes on your shelf. Usually for manga, the tookaa will indicate which volume to which volume an arc is, or in One Piece's case tells you which volume a particular SH joined the crew. Here's an example from Bleach.

Anyway that doesn't say much about a HxH anime but it seems there will be one with info forthcoming later?

If they like the "typical" shounen stories, than Hunter X Hunter is a great choice definitely. It's a very good manga that can compete with both Naruto and One Piece, and at some moments even surpass them. I can't wait to start following it weekly. I already follow weekly Naruto, One Piece,Toriko,Bakuman and some others of the WSJ but these mangas are definitely the ones that i most enjoy. Plus Hunter X Hunter, this will me just way more interesting

And i also had some doubts if i should or not read Hunter x Hunter, manly because of the Hiatus, but also because of the art. But as it will restart in August i decided that it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. The art isn't definitely a plus on the manga, but i waited to see if the story was interesting and IMO it is. Just ended Greed Island arc and it was definitely a very interesting arc.

I'm in a weird point where I don't bother about the art anymore, rather than the design of the characters that calls my attention.

Sometimes I read a chapter (Any manga) without looking ONCE all the art pages or anything not related to what they say. I check them later to see details, but I tend to overlook panels with no meaning in the story.

But then again, possibly the Hiatus was needed?
Possibly he had to plan what to do with the manga, made great plans about how to go on with it?

Or mb he just trolls us and HxH is already finished and will be fully released after he died? <:

HELL YEAH!!!! It's about time, I can't wait for the anime. I hope that they won't change the voice actors it would feel strange.

I hope they remaking the anime-series from the beginning, just like FMA Brotherhood. Although, that the old series and ovas were "close to manga".

I prefer a HD Version with better Animation and newer voice-performance then the old times.

I am not an anime fan, cuz in all the cases i always go with for the manga, but i wouldn't mind checking the anime, if it hd a better quality. Some people recommended before i started reading HxH to see the anime instead of reading the manga, but the poor graphic quality made it impossible for me. So a remake would be awesome.
I am already reading this last arc, and until now it has been awesome. I won't give more than 2 days to catch up with it

I think the "first anime" was awesome. Don't need to remake it.
They just should animate the chimera ant arc.

well it's just the first season. Everything after that is made as an OVA and has a far better quality. That's why I don't think they will remake it, but who knows

If the rumor's true, I'm really looking forward to it. There's a lot of epic stuff to animate (around 125 chapters) so Togashi will have enough time to finally finish this big arc.

I really liked the original anime. The added scenes were pretty enjoyable and mostly good and the slight changes in the story understandable too. I'd wish to see Chimera arc adapted already, though wouldn't mind a higher quality full re-make either.
