i need advice.

i wanna try this manga, actually i did. i read first volume and i didnt like it so i stopped there. the art and storyline is very dull. is it gonna be very interesting?
also, is character design getting better or just the same age and the same art?
for example, in naruto, after timeskip character designs are muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch better.

The first volume isn't really anything like the rest of the manga. The art gets better, and the story hasn't even really kicked in yet.

Just keep reading. It's better than Naruto.

Hunter X Hunter is coming back soon !

I found the news on a couple of forums and in ritual scan forge ! It seems like Togashi was indeed ill, and is recovering. He should be back with Hunter X Hunter in Automn... Isn't it great news

HxH will be back until whatever Togashi piled up since February 2006 is published. Let's hope it's at least a volume or 2-3.
After that, another break is expected until enough is piled up again.

Well it's been a long break. Lucky for me I've only been waiting for about a week or 2. Stupid part is it was about to get pretty interesting.

No offense but if u dont like it, plz stop saying anymore negative things abt it... And yes, it is dull at the start but eventually u'll find this manga/anime(Hopefully there's still ppl providing) pretty meaningful and nice...

And yes(again), the quality of the manga is alittle off my expectation too but thats ok, the meaning and action are there. Im chasing after the story... Its a gd one...

Its so nice and well planned that it has alot of epsiode without any sidetrack... If u take Naruto minus away all the side track(aka filler), i think both have equal amount of episode...

I am super happy about it coming back but my expectations are very very low if we get one chapter and it goes on hiatus again i would be fine with it but i am not even going to get my hopes up for 2-3 volumes worth ;-(

Whoo! I can't wait for October! Hopefully we'll get HxH back, though all "come-backs" and release dates are a little sketchy when it comes to Togashi, no? Well, I would like the nasty chapters to be redrawn, but hopefully Togashi did that while on his hiatus, since I really don't want it interrupting the new releases.

And enough of that. No need to start making fun of each other (or Togashi too much). Talk about HxH and the probable return.

Most authors fix the art in their series when they release the volumes of the series. Togashi may do (or have already done) it and the fixed art will be released in the volumes when they arrive.

HxH comeback confirmed!!

Hunter x Hunter volume 24 will be out in Japan on the 4th of October.

The latest new chapter wil be in the October 6th issue of Shounen Jump.
