eh? didn't leol died of carbon dioxide poisoning? wasn't the plan before they infiltrate the castle is to kill every ant that blocks their way? killua got a few. so did morau.

Well, did he really die? It's been a week or so since that battle, and in chapter 261, Hina mentioned having performed some sort of Nen removal for him, so I assumed he survived his battle with Morau...? Though... We didn't actually see him die, since Morau escaped right away~...

and, surmising killua's decision, it seems he plans on searching for palm, all the while killing the other general ants.

No, Killua's plan was to be Gon's backup to carve a path for him to reach Nefelpitou and take his revenge for Kaito. When Killua noticed the danger in Ikarugo's path and eliminated those two soldier ants, he himself thought "What am I doing? I'm not following the plan, this isn't my job." and such. Check the chapter 261 cover, it has the crew devided into teams with their specific orders next to it.

Hey there, Pwned-kun, didn't see you in ages!

It's just an image cut from the awesome colouring that We1rd (sp?) did from the awesome Killua doublespread where he kills those two soldier ants (chapter 269, pages 16-17), you can find it in the nexGear release for that chapter. (I know Binktopia's release was better, I guess, but I normally like to stick to one group for a series, if possible, and they'll redo it when the volume comes out, so whatever~). #nexgear @ irchighway.

That's not that strange, since there was a mistprint in Jump that week, and it was mistakingly labelled as chapter 260. So I imagine a lot of people got confused over that... ^^;

Chapter 260 is the one that ends with Gon thinking something like "Palm... I'll save you." while sinking into the floor of the hideout, while 261 is the one with the colour pages and cover.

The nen removal they are talking about is the removal of hakoware from zitoh following leol's order so there is still the possibility that leol died.

What do you think Palm is doing?Also is she from reinforcement(remember the mug of tea) or specialisation(her known ability is to track people) ?

Reïnforcement, and I think she had to hide in the basement because she didn't manage to complete her job in time, and felt it was the only place safe from Nefelpitou's En or something...?

It'll probably not be that, but whatever the case, we know at least that she hasn't been found by any of the below-royal-guard ants, and her mission failed. Most likely she's either dead or it's something completely unexpected and she'll need Nova to appear out of nowhere to save her. >_>

Nova staying behind, from a storyteller's point of view, can have only two reasons, as far as my reasoning allows me to go:
a / his ability is something that Togashi couldn't have had the good guys have access to during a latter part in the story, and he therefore had to be deus-ex-machina'd out of the way for the story to come to remain convincing
b / he's needed for a sudden appearance to save the day at a latter point in the story (the only other people that could be used for a plot mechanism like this would have been leorio, kurapika and hisoka, but the first two of those are highly unlikely...)

didn't novu had a breakdown? his spirit is crushed, morau says, and is evident of the whitening of his hair.... and morau declared in ch260 that he'll work doubly hard for novu's sake....

...but i think novu will come around later in the battle. IMHO, his nen ability is top notch-- he can trap a royal guardl in there(which means no easy escape route). or, he can put the king, netero and zeno in his room. that'll send the ants into a frenzy.

oh yeah, what happened to the koala-looking general that didn't follow the king?

and what happened to shoot's leg? did he get hit by a dragon?

Shoot got hit by Montutyupi's attack a few chapters ago, remember?

And the Koala and the... Bee? The queen's attendant I mean, they didn't want to actually fight, because they were too weak, if I recall correctly?

Anyway, guys, don't you think the ants saga is a little.. er... off? I kinda lost interest when the ants started showing up, it looked too much of filler quality to me.

Well, yeah, a lot of people seem to dislike the Ant Arc, mostly because Greed Island was simply so awesome~

Personally, I like this Chimaera Ant Arc best though, I think. Mainly because it's just so bloody and filled with death, and because it features some of my new favourite characters~ (Read: Morau and coincidently, the people he fought: Zitoh, Leol, Hauapufu, and also, Killua has been really cool lately~)

im confused about the octopus guy that became friends with killua. wasnt he with them when the series started up again for like 2-3 chapters ish but then he turned into that flying bug guy until the last chapter which did like a weird thing with killua seeing both of them at the same time or what not. did that question make sense?

Erm, rather, he used his ability to inhabit other people's bodies. (Remember the Flea Ant?)

And when Killua "saw" Ikarugo's real form when running past him it was just a standard arty way of depicting who it was inside, he didn't suddenly change looks or anything, more an 'in his mind' scenario. xD

Guys, a week ago, I had ch. 248 in HQ, but I can't find it again in no place, I only get the old Jump scans, when Toshiro was going sick... which are crap.

Anyone knows where I can get those? I think they're from Binktopia, but I'm not sure...
