futurefrog, I think for one to be part of the Spider, you'd have to be a very seasoned fighter who has to do certain things that require a lot of sneaking and stealing, thus, having exceptional observation techniques and faculty. If they saw chains on anyone, that alone would have had raised flags (considering how madly they tried to look for the guy). And the fact that he was working for Nostrade, it would have been the go signal.

for them not to put 2 and 2 together, especially when it was mentioned that Kurapika represented the Nostrade Family, that was a plot hole as far as the anime was concerned.

But if [user]bobop[/user] says that in the manga, Kurapika was not able to materialize his chains due to being distracted, that could have been more acceptable.

I dunno guys I just see this as a non-issue. I did not feel that Kurapika was too revealing of himself to the Spiders and I see no reason for the Spiders to suspect him. It just does not make any logical sense for them to think as such.

I just have a question about the anime... just this one episode... Kurapika started bidding right, in his own costume and with the chains and all. He pretty much stood out WITH HIS CHAINS.

And not one of the spiders who were at the auction (Pakunoda, especially, who was there to see the bidders) reacted??? Is that a flaw that was in the anime only? I think I missed that in the manga, but watching the anime, a friend (who didn't read the manga) pointed it out to me and I also got to thinking... And I just couldn't accept that Togashi would make that kind of mistake...

I don't think Togashi would have made that kind of mistakes anyway, so yes it's an anime only thing.

Hunter x Hunter volume 31 will be on sale December 4th
Hunter x Hunter volume 32 will be on sale December 28th

Which means it's really likely that the manga will come back, can't wait

For a moment, I thought it was December 2012, and then December 2013. I'm glad to see it's two in one month. Hopefully this is a good sign? Then we have the movie... and then end of hiatus? *crosses fingers*

I think the manga will be back, since as I mentioned before Viz is picking up the speed of it's releases. Shuiesha and Viz are basically the same company so it wouldn't be surprising to think that they talk to each other, and Togashi in turn talks to them. Either way it's pretty exciting. I figure HXH will return in January since new volumes tend to come out slightly before a new serialization.

Togashi always comes back when the volumes are released. This is almost a confirmation of the hiatus ending in January 2013 or so.

Granted, it can be different this time.
