Oh man. So, I woke up this morning and saw news that HxH will be returning in June. Apparently this isn't a hoax as the official news came from Viz and Shueisha? This is a great day! We've been waiting for the next arc for what feels like ages! (Really, more like 2 years).

Well this is going to be incredibly awesome Hopefully he returns for another 30 chapters, like he did last time. Not that I would complain about more, just trying to be realistic here.

Now I certainly wouldn't mind a short filler arc for the anime or something, to see the rest animated. Even with Togashi returning in June, animating what he releases is going to take some time, so I can't imagine they will be able to continue without at least a few filler episodes, or a short break of some sort. Stretched out canon material is the last thing I want, though it wouldn't be too bad if it happens on a few occasions here and there.

Kinda funny though lol, all the manga being on hiatus for way more than a year are suddenly returning. First Liar Game, then Berserk, and now HxH. Did they have a secret meeting or something?

Was this to be meant ironic or the truth? Because I feel exactly the same way. No hype, no happiness, no excitement, no relief. Simply meh. Togashi could even announce that he won't go hiatus anymore until HXH is finished or that HXH won't come back at all, it would have no effect on me.

Anyways, I'm so pumped for this news. Honestly if there was an entire arc dedicated to the Phantom Troupe I would so be ok with it. I feel like we may need a small break (pun intended lol) from Gon and Killua. An entire arc with the troupe and then Kurapika showing up halfway through or something would be epic as fuck.
