Just for fun, what do you think Troupe members doing in their free time?

I can see Machi as a part-time embalmer, obviously. Nobu as a bodyguard. Chrollo maybe doing volunteer work for an orphanage. Phinks and Fei just doing whatever they want. I can also imagine Shizuku work as a librarian

We know Chrollo loves books. I can't see Nobunaga as bodyguard, but as a mercenary. He is inspired by samurai so he must like practicing iaido.

Same for Shizuku, I can't imagine her as a librarian. I think Togashi wanted to draw someone who looks like a normal person but how is anything but that. She seems to like mangas (she is the one who said Skill Hunter is like the Death Note) but I don't see her reading general books.

Feitan and Phinks seem to be adrenaline junkies. When we saw them in the flashback Phinks was on a bike, both also love video games. We saw Feitan reading a torture book. He is probably a weapons nerd.

Machi gets money for stitching people so she has a side job(not sure if being a PT member can count as a job but still).

Franklin is big and gets heated in battles but is also cool-headed in general and seems to have good emotional intelligence. I'd expect something uncharacteristic for his build, which requires patience and precision, like knitting or something. He could be a tattooer, piercing artist or into arts in general. He modified his hands for a power boost after all.

Now that you mentioned it Nobu and Uvo do seem like mercenaries, I remember the flashback told by Franklin in the YorkShin arc.

And a quirky/dork girl like Shizuku is indeed not convincing as a librarian.

Though I'm not sure that's the right time to choose since he said it's when he felt nauseous sitting down to draw and wanted to stop drawing manga. From the very next chapter:

Well, you'll see inconsistencies through all his work but that panel is still an incredible display of what he was able to do even while rushing stuff. My point being that you can tell that HxH is by design more on the sketchy side. This doesn't take away the fact that there's a ton of pages and panels that are masterpieces and some of the best in the medium.
