[RUMOUR?] Apparently, this user on Comicforum attended the signing session of the mangaka of the Yuuna's Hot Spring Series at the Animagic 2019 convention and asked a chief Editor of Shonen Jump about HxH who then confirmed its return for this year

Beast children will probably be cancelled soon, so there's be a lot for HxH to return. He returned in October last time, too.

on one hand I am like you know what? HxH was a really fun series. Even if this it and Togashi gave up I am still a fan. But on the other hand...

And didn't we determine it was somehow Sale-Sale's guard? I still root for it being one of the three female house servants. One of them was in a position to look at everyone else in the room while observing, and see their faces. And Silent Majority had an outfit similar to them... far too much a coincidence.

Funny someone else mentioned SM befoer me. Was just thinking about it earlier, that I am just happy Togashi didn't leave back in 2016 with SM as a cliffhanger and not return even now. That would have been so brutal I don't think I could have survived it...

SM first appeared in 2017. But now it seems that subplot has been abandoned...of course it depends on whether Muciaho is its actual user or not (and I'm pretty sure he is!).

C'mon Togashi, let hxh 2019 happen...

Just to be clear: a year since 381, but 10 months since 390.

Also, there have been three previous years with no chapters, so it wouldn't be unprecedented for him or anything.
