The tree for me is a setup for a horror character, a metaphor for something sinister lurking. Togashi loves terror drawing and mostly this arc has been filled with those images. I don't think that tree is a literal existing tree, just the representation of something hidden.

I won't believe it until I have all ten chapters in my hands.

In the meantime, I actually began trying to awaken my aura with qigong and meditation. There is definitely power there the governments don't want us learning. But damn is it dangerous. I will not divulge if I figure out how to Manipulate people, but Togashi would be a firm contender. Or maybe healing. Healing abilities are definitely a thing so maybe I could undo is back pain. Zehahahah!

I think the tree is from a flashback. Or it could be related to a Nen ability. I honestly don't see the need to tease the DC now when the Succession War is heating up.

Unless we are getting a change of perspective to someone like Beyond who went there or Don I guess? Anyway, unless it's the latter it would still be a flashback.

i thought about it for a bit and i think teach's nen would defo be sth involving copying (or stealing) an ability after he gets hit by it maybe he could steal a healing ability yeah
