I can see him take a break to write the script of the next batch. But depending on how he manages his time, he could do both. His health issues are another factor too.

What do you mean? All the pages he shows us are completed drafts. He and his assistants complete the drafts in the background.

I remember that a few years ago he had said that he had written a manuscript of about 30 chapters or something of the kind in a publication

Thank you for your hardwork. This is extremely helpful. I understand why red is used for elimination/deceased, but what about other colours? Is there a reason behind it?

The main reason behind the different colors is esthetics; to make the timeline more appealing and easier to read ^^.

At first I only used green; it wasn't too nice on the eyes. Ultimately I went with alternating between 2 greens and 1 purple, while also using different colors for events happening in rapid succession (light blue) and events occurring simultaneously. And as you correctly guessed, red is for assassinations.

I actually WANT Togashi to take a small break after he finishes this batch for publication. By small I mean take the month or a couple months off and take it easy.

If Togashi is ready with a script for a new batch in six months time then we are golden.

Note I would be expecting the manga to still be on the first batch.

Even if it's only a volume a year or even every two years if another indefinite hiatus can be avoided at least for some time then I think
that will be good for the fandom.

I don't mind waiting. It's the not knowing
that sucks. Because even if it's a long wait
you can just hibernate until the next chapter.
