I think Togashi isn't his editor right now.

What I understood from the interview is that Togashi was his editor since Fujimaki wrote the first manuscript of KnB until a little after he was serialized. He was his first editor.

Still it's surprising.
It was a very interesting interview, Specially Togashi's advices about storywriting.

First wanna say Kuroko's Basketball is an awesome manga, everyone should check out the manga and anime. A good example of a *sports series done right. That and Chihayafuru

I wish I could be in the meetings when editors are discussing what to greenlight for anime adaptations. If anyone reads Bakuman knows this, the editor of the manga usually(not always) is the one who oversees anime production making sure it's going as mangaka wants it. After hearing Togashi talk about how Hunter x Hunter getting a reboot was a special case, it really makes me want to get a peek behind the scenes in Shonen Jump meetings. Sounds like there isn't any ill will regarding Togashi's hiatuses anymore

*Though I think Kuroko is about Magic Shounen basketball more than actual basketball lulz

Keep calm people, this isnt the first and wont be the last hiatus.
It'll make one year this march, and if we were to get something until april we would already know.
I prefer to think that togashi choose to make this hiatus a bit longer to avoid needing to stop at the middle of the arc later.

Holy shit for the first time in its run it has surpassed ONE PIECE!? this is insane. Great sign for HxH moving forward.

Still, it's a good rating
