I saw this article commenting how SABR (Sneak Attack By Roger) is a dirty move:

http://espn.go.com/tennis/usopen15/...nis-said-roger-federer-justifies-sneak-attack

The first thing I thought of when I read this was how in the national finals how the random nobodies were calling Sanada a dirty player for not playing Tezuka straight up against Tezuka Phantom even though he had a move that can trivially neutralize it which obviously bothered Sanada. At that time, I thought it was just standard POT stuff and Sanada was just dumb for letting himself getting bothered over some stupid insults. However, seeing that Roger Federer gets called out for a dirty player, this insult thing must be some common tactic in tennis to try to play mind games with your opponent, so I was wrong for faulting Sanada for falling for it! That is, if people in real life hoped it'd work on Roger Federer then who am I to say that this tactic couldn't work on Sanada, who despite his superhuman powers still is presumably not as mentally tough as Roger Federer?

Sanada feel sorry for doing so because he doesn't face Tezuka as an emperor. It's pretty simple. I doubt the commentator is the reason that Sanada was so down about it.

The mental shock start from right here
