Well, hi everybody

I'm Elyon, and if you ask, yes, I'm male :3

I'm from Colombia, 20 years old and for now, expecting to get into university next year (I was studying already, but it didn't fit me) in order to study Literature

What I like is manga, anime and books mainly

Also I like movies and music, but I´m not very into it

Favorite mangas

One Piece hands down
Bleach
Naruto (even if may get awful at times, though latest chapter was pretty good)
xxxHolic

And just recently began reading Nurarihyon no mago

As for anime I like a lot of series

Hello me is new

About me, lets see, I'm Vietnamese, my favorite manga and anime is Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Gintama is a close second. I'm into graphics, about seven weeks now. I'm a graphics staff member at sMi subs lol. I think I'll apply for an artist gallery later on. Hope to see ye all in the future. :3
If anyone wants a signature or avatar and that other jazz xD feel free to pm me. I'm on summer vacation for another week so I have time, I also just started coloring manga, need to work on shading. ^^

Hello, all. I've been a shameless lurker for too long.

I'm a busy Mama who has been a manga/anime junkie for a long while, spending hours upon hours wondering why my pony-tails were never as long as Sailor Moon's, all the way up to accepting - no- OWNING my own inner Narutard.

Now even my children are a little Narutarded. The never ending cycle of life.

Right now I'd say I'm only following Naruto and Full Metal Alchemist closely, but I confess to knowing a little bit more about Pokemon, Blue Dragon, and Bakugan than I probably should, thanks to my four year old. All three of the kids like Naruto, but they're stuck with Part One for now. I don't see myself letting them read/see the more mature stuff just yet.

Ok, that's about it. I'm not a tech junkie or a computer whiz, but my job title does include the word "technician". Go figure.

You´re such a cool mom !!!! I wish my mom wachted cartoos/anime with me when i was little!! But i have to ask you... You force ur kids to whatch the fillers?!?! Cuzz thats just torture...hehehe (lol)

I agree with you... small children shouldnt read/wacht the second part of naruto...

I strongly recomend One Piece!! Its a masterpiece mixture of funny, drama, crazyness and a lot of impressively interesting caracters with a lot of development!!! Even after 500 chapters (manga) its still fresh and surprising

I know the fillers are excruciating, but the kids like them because they're a lot more on the silly side. My elder two children who will be 9 and 8 might like One Piece. I couldn't get into that one personally but it may deserve another look.

I like watching anime with them and as long as the kids are spending some of their summer break reading, I let them read the manga when they are done with the summer reading from school. My brother always had a hard time reading growing up until my Ma started letting him read Sports magazines. He couldn't wait to get to the sports so he actually looked forward to reading his schoolwork. I try to so the same with my children. Once they finish what they HAVE to read, then they can pick something they WANT to read! Lucky for me, they like reading manga!

Besides I prefer even Pokemon to some of these other crappy cartoons we have here in the US. I can't believe I just admitted that. Oh well!

About One Piece... you have to stick with it until after the Arlong arc (chapter 90ish more or less) and if your not hooked by than, you win a chocolate hehehe

Thats a very good idea!! I will "rob" that for myself, if u dont mind... but schools here dont give assignments for the vacation...

Be proud to admit that!!! Its what i think also (probably everybody on this forum...)!! But there are a couple i like... ever tried Nickeloudion´s (cant spell that) "Avatar, the last airbender"? Its preety awesome!!

Yeah i'm like in love with Gintama it's like so funny and it's so exiting waiting for the next chapter/episodes to come out, watching/reading them is even better

The fight scenes are like *drools* so cool, and the anime has awesome voice actors

It really amazes me how I can't find more Gintama fanatics liek myself

So I try and work real hard to leave the Gintama imprint on everyone I come in contact with lol
