Just my two cents..

In MangaPanda/MangaStream version, Irene called Mira "this little girl".

Some said because of this, Irene is probably Erza's mother.

Actually there is still a slight chance Irene is Erza's sister. In Japanese raws, Irene said "..あの娘.." (romaji: ano musume) or "that girl". "娘" (romaji: musume) doesn't only refer to "daughter", but it could also mean "little girl" or "girl". Irene saying "this little girl" doesn't really mean she is a middle-aged woman. She did say "You've grown up so big" to Brandish, but don't forget that Brandish is at the same age as Lucy, and if Irene is Erza's sister, it makes sense. (Lucy was 17 years old at her first debut, and now is 25 years old. Erza was 19 years old at her first debut, and now is 27 years old).

DiMaria called Lucy "小娘" (romaji: komusume) or "little girl", even though they are at around same age.

Whoever Irene is, I think her disgust for Erza's weakness as a child and her initial exposure to Zeref through his Ishgar based cult led to her instigating the raid on Rosemary Village and the kidnapping of the child workers for the Tower of Heaven. Also, characters tend not to lose their magic in Fairy Tail but to have it stolen, so it is worth wondering how Old Rob, who also was captured for the ToH, lost his magic and whether it was Irene who separated him from it during his capture.

A. She is the only one who can make hisui normal
B. She maybe the miracle who can give chelia her magic back. She can enchant magic into people

I originally thought Irene would've been a twin/older sister of Erza, and the scar thing did (and still does) scream kinky twin thing to me. But, after I saw that volume's sketches of Irene and her having more of an aged appearance, I'm leaning towards her being more of a mother or auntie to Erza. She's certainly powerful, so her being older helps justify why she might be compared with August in terms of power, it means she's had longer to get that strong. So yeah, I can see her being either Erza's mother or twin that aged during the tenrou time skip. (please be twins please be twins please be twins)

Yup she is. August is more of the old OG wisdom powerhouse 12s while Brandish is the most recognizable face being she was the first introduced and has great plot relevance. Irene has been taking over FT lately and with her connection Erza just puts her in the top pecking order. Larcade would come after Brandish to me once his plot begins.

Larcade could definitely got to no.1 if he pulls off something big against Acno.

I still got hopes for August to out-badass Irene. It seems like the moment he enters the fray, the war will be turned into a stomp.

But yea right now Irene is (universe) 1

Possibly, I don't think she is stronger than August but she's by had the most impact for a Spriggan by far. Changing a whole continent, using a spell which in turn has led to Makarov's current situation and having the ability to enchant anything, she's way up there in terms of quality villains imo. If she turned out to be the true villain of this arc and Acno/Zeref get panned off for later, I wouldn't be surprised or mad. But to the point, she possibly is, but

I am suspicious of her staff. Everytime she cast a spell that has huge AoE, she's always seen tapping her staff. Let's check these out:

I will still stay to my theory that Staff allows Irene to cast Enchant magic or improves her ability in that school at large degree.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Irene without staff would lose the ability to use that magic or it would become significantly weaker.

Time will tell is it just for design or Hiro have hidden reason behind this

Oh you ever said that? I didn't remember lol. I must have missed it.. I really like thinking Irene's current outfit is actually an armor and her primary magic is Requip haha

If it were any other manga I would speculate that the staff channels her magic and without the staff it would just go wild. But this is Hiro. Your theory would be something he would use honestly. One of the most powerful mages defeated because she.....dropped her staff. Yes. I can see it.

Let's hope so. I feel like with everything she's shown she'll have to end up being defeated by the twistiest of plot twists. Especially now that Erza is "angry" and that eye thing she did is yet to be explained.

I wanna see her snap. So far all her opponents have been childs play. That face she made when she was told to hunt Mavis? Yes. I want a whole chapter dedicated to her going all out."Berserker" was just her playing chess with Mavis. Enchanting almost a million soldiers without blinking or breaking a sweat is epic already. I want to see peak Irene before the inevitable FT nakama win. I don't want her to end up like God Serena, all that power and no real display. If this was an unbiased war Irene would take out at least half the enemies. I don't understand why she enchanted the soldiers. She should have turned the FT mages into bugs and had them squashed and trampled by a million soldiers

I wouldn't mind seeing an AOE spell from Irene. Like if she enchants the sky and stars or meteorites came falling down and destroying everyone on the immediate battlefield. Lol her magic is dope cause it's so many possibilities with it, looking forward to that over END vs. Gray.
