I’m curious how it would’ve done without the scandal as well. Shame we’ll never know.
Im curious how it does as well with the scandal.

Unfortunately it seems like it'll probably be "fine". I saw quite a bit of reactions where people were either sad or horrified that Watsuki did what he did but they liked the series and thus wanted him to come back and continue it. Personally, I'd rather he didn't come back and honestly not make any money off of Kenshin at all from that point on but he's getting royalties from various merch as we speak.

Unfortunately it smashed the 100k mark...this is really just sad. It did around the same numbers as Shokugeki.Unfortunately it seems like it'll probably be "fine". This volume will probably do a maximum of around 100k.
Honestly, I know I said it'll do a maximum of 100k but I'm really not that surprised it did 170k. The series was gigantic and the live action movies are among the highest grossing live action movies of all time at the Japanese Box Office. There were seemingly quite a bit of fans that didn't know what he did. The hard fact is that its still making money so they might very well follow through with an anime or a couple OVAs with this story. But they might be cautious though as once its made into an anime, the people that do know will let those that don't and you might end up with a case like that "Second life in another world" series that was canned because of what the author said on Twitter a while back. What Watsuki did is infinitely worse than what that guy did. It really depends on how the appraoch it. I wouldn't be surprised if they did give it an anime but down the line like 5 years from now when seemingly everyone "forgets" about it.Unfortunately it smashed the 100k mark...this is really just sad. It did around the same numbers as Shokugeki.
Do you think they'll follow through with an anime or a few OVA's? I know the likely answer is no given the scandal but the sales seems to tell a different story.

You know what to do.wow...
Honestly that would look great as a graph
I honestly don't want anyone wasting resources on this series but the industry is weird and will make anime adaptations out of anything. Its astonishing the Ohba/Obata duo can make something like this. Can they please move on?
This can get an anime, but I really wonder how much it's going to help considering how much the manga dropped instead of growing.
I'm scared it will get a high profile anime. That would add insult to injury.I honestly don't want anyone wasting resources on this series but the industry is weird and will make anime adaptations out of anything. Its astonishing the Ohba/Obata duo can make something like this.
Wow, that's quite a fallout. Btw, you still have some current graphs for shonen jump titles? I want some.I could just use the number above, but why not go slightly deeper

Can you post it there for the all the current manga on the magazine that you have? It would be a good help for me.Sure, I have all the latest one, tell me what you need and I'll it up on the WSJ thread
I did not intentionally try to sound like a dealer... for the most part
I’m reading it. I wouldn’t even say it’s bad, just that it’s painfully average. I still find it more interesting than most of the other battle-type series in SQ though. Slow pacing is probably the biggest annoyance personally.Does anyone even read PE? Like how bad is it now? I dropped it early as many others did.
