There are 6 chapters without volume, enough to fulfil a volume, so it can be just merely a technicality, to not let the readers that buy in volumes wait even more. Hunter X Hunter released two volumes past year and didn't back, so I won't put high hopes in it.

yeah but the 6 chapters together have just 169 pages that aren't enough for a complete volume, so there are 2 possibilities: extras or a chapter in november that'll be already included on the volume (or maybe a volume with 169 pages idk)... I hope dgm gets back

Extras is the most probably because the November Issue, that will be released October 4th doesn't seem that has DGM judging by the preview, DGM back would be a important announcement and nothing was said. December Issue will be released in November and the volume will be released November 1st, impossible to publish in the issue and put it in the volume at the same time.

Guys does any of you read Embalming? Does it really only have like 7 volumes? Out of which only like 4 are scanlated?
Is it not that good? I mean you would expect it to sell pretty good because its by Watsuki and IIRC it was planned to be like SQ flagship title..
And now that we are at it, what series do you consider SQ's flagship title?

Embalming is pretty good, sitting somewhere between the tedium of gun blaze west and the quality of Buso Renkin, and it performs pretty well for a post-ruroken Watsuki work. But that's got little to do with its quantity and scanlated materials, so let's talk that by making two points.

1) It's taken more than a few breaks, including a HUGE one when that horrid Ruroken remake surfaced last year, and so... 7 volumes.

2) Who cares about how much of something is scanlated? If any of it is done at all I'm sure that's good enough for the people getting their free illicit materials lovingly adapted by people on the internet for what is almost always nothing, to say nothing of the act itself (and the use of online readers at that)

Now, I don't think it was ever intended to be a flagship title for SQ, either. I can't think it was given any special promotion outside of being on the first cover to SQ. The flagship thing can't be forced, which is probably why it took a bit for SQ's true flagship, Blue Exorcist, to appear.

Now, I don't think it was ever intended to be a flagship title for SQ, either. I can't think it was given any special promotion outside of being on the first cover to SQ. The flagship thing can't be forced, which is probably why it took a bit for SQ's true flagship, Blue Exorcist, to appear.

I believe it was intended to be a flagship title for SQ since I believe it did got some amount of push at the beginning. But, it doesn't mean that it'll become a flagship as the editors expected; even Bessatsu Shounen Magazine pushed Doubutsu no Kuni to be its flagship series since it is by Raiku Makoto (author of Zatch Bell), but it turned out that Shingeki no Kyojin became a flagship for BSM.

It looks like the alternate cover for the volume 24 of D.Gray-man going to be bundled on upcoming December Issue of Jump SQ. I wonder this indicates the resume of D.Gray-man is close (or it can become like Hunter x Hunter).

I have interest in read Sousei no Onmyouji, I didn't read Binbougami ga!, but I saw the art and even now it looks good. Fantasma is another that I have interest, but I couldn't read yet, anyone know how is it going?
