I am reading this series since beginning and based on the story flow, I think YnS is intended for short serialization. Plus, the new series are keep starting, so SQ needs to cut some series to make more room.

IIRC, Yae no Sakura was also serialized to coincide with the NHK taiga drama of the same title, the series is airs from January to December 2013, so I think it was meant for short serialization only.

I'll see, too, if possible. 1/11 seems a very interesting sport manga, we don't see sports manga with drama and tragedy often, but it doesn't avaliable in the USA and the scans are late. =/

The winner of first SQ. Next Cup (Jump SQ. version of Golden Future Cup) is Hotel Helheim (by Nishi Osamu). So, we probably going to see this as a series on next year (if it follows same system as GFC).

It hasn't announced yet, but I think it'll most likely a live-adaptation movie.

Also, Jump SQ. released the special posters to celebrate its 6th year anniversary (guess which series are missing in the poster).

Oh nice quite a few series I read are up there (Tegami Bachi, Psycho Pass, BLue Exorcist, Seraph of the End), slightly wish they were just cut and paste jobs and actually really artistically driven creations.
