Anyone know what Crunch is about? Looks pretty good from that CP.

Re: Jump Square (Monthly Shounen Mag by Shueisha)

w00t! I'm happy to inform you guys that an anonymous scanner had picked up Houkago Wind Orchestra and scanned chapter 9~15 (up to the latest chapter)!

Hopefully he'll continue with the scans

Re: Jump Square (Monthly Shounen Mag by Shueisha)

Thanks!! I saw your posts of them earlier today. It looks like a good series but I couldn't bring myself to read something that stalled after two chapters :/ Now, hopefully, translations will resume.

Re: Jump Square (Monthly Shounen Mag by Shueisha)

Well, the scans were (sort of) continued up untill 08 (as well as a special chapter), but they were all in the older download forum archives.

I just thought that since 09-15 is now here, might as well put up everthing that's missing

Lacking the raws of ch. 9, the intermission chapter between 10 and 11, and I think ch. 14. Without raws, no Edited Mangas.

Ooh. I may translate that one shot. I like Matsui, and hope he comes back again soon.

Re: Jump Square (Monthly Shounen Mag by Shueisha)

Matsui's art seems to better here than in Neuro, although I dislike the guy's design, what we the huge nose and weird beard.

Does anyone scan tank raws from Embalming? That would probably be a good solution to the missing raw problem. How many chapters are there any way? What about Ultimo? It's first volume is being released in July.

Re: Jump Square (Monthly Shounen Mag by Shueisha)

Embalming has 17 numbered chapters (well, later this week) and 19 in total with the two short intermissions. I estimate that the second volume will include the stuff up to ch. 10 + intermission... I hope someone scans it, yes.

Re: Jump Square (Monthly Shounen Mag by Shueisha)

A oneshot that isn't a shallow romantic-ecchi-comedy?

Sounds drastically awful!

Noodles, don't you mean Kano?

Anyway, I don't see anything wrong with the look of the preview. It is actually in line with a lot of his earlier works. Black City and Tokyo Ants had mostly more tragedy than comedy.

It wasn't until 2000 when he started to tap his comedy side

I won't be surprised if his next series goes for a darker story as oppose to Pretty Face and Mx0.
