Karin - experimental coloring

Hey, guys.

I've been experimenting with a bunch of different coloring styles lately, and this time I decided to try a bit of a sharper and more realistic type of shading on Karin... I'm hating how it's turning out, though, so I'm just gonna pass on this one. I still spend quite a bit of time on it, so I'll post it just for the heck of it.

the clothes turned out really nice but the shades on the skin are too desaturated; they need to be more reddish/brownish. It looks pretty nice still, especially the stomach.

Yep, I agree that it came out pretty nicely, at least in my eyes

only thing I find weird about it is her face...and that her hair, pants, and stockings haven't been done yet!

ummm ....I like it ...seriously I think you should finish it The blouse looks cool and the skin too I think yo don't need to change anything to the skin it already looks really good I especially like the face and stomach part but the skin on the legs is well colored too the glasses look cool too PLEASE FINISH IIT!!!! I love the sasuke panel too

I had little choice regarding what to do with the hair - in my stupidity I accidentally saved the PSD file after flattening and resizing Sasuke before getting to his hair, so I wasn't really able to go into detail with 1 layer and such image size. I'm not very pleased with it myself, but I don't mind it too much. I would, however, suggest that you're a bit more gentle with your language and manners when you give criticism.

Thanks for the compliments, guys. Seeing how well received it is, I guess I'll start working on it again on Sunday (after my exams).

Thanks for the compliments, guys. I've been working on a major coloring project of a certain page from last week's chapter, and I'll post it today. I'm very pleased with it myself, so I can't wait to post it.

nice shading but i think they're a bit off....maybe you need to consider a consistent light source...
