Re: Veselé Vianoce prajem! / Merry Christmas to everybody! /Feliz Navidad! / Feliz Natal!

Naaah lol the 6th of Jan is when the 3 kings come to baby Jesus thats the last day of Christmas (basically) but in Russia on the 6th of Jan they have the Christmas Eve their Xmas starts 6th of Jan!

[Josef]

Fasting ends on the 6th, Christmas day is on the 7th. Slovaks are not Orthodox though right?

We, the Russians, Serbs and I think Greeks are ... what was the Byzantine Empire plus Russia.

[Kat]

Nah here we get presents the 24th of Dec, then Jesus's birthday 25th ... and then the 6th of Jan is when the three kings come to him

[Leoat12]

Happy New Year Kat!

Is it 2014 there?

[Kat]

5 minutes!!!

[Josef]

The three kings come on the same day as the birth, no?

[Leoat12]

Narratively, yes, but it's celebrated on January 6th, it's called Epiphany.
