1. turn demon back to human
2. if 1 failed, it will accelerate the aging.
Tanjirou isn't faster. It's Muzan who becomes slower.
The medicine ages Muzan by 50 years every minute

What would Tamayo give a medicine that would kill Nezuko? Make absolute no sense.

We should have started a weekly segment called “where is nezuko?”... lol it’s hard to get invested when we know nothing will happen until she arrives and fights with tanjiro

Now I see this I think this is final battle because seems like Muzan is gonna fall here aging probably means his entire body inside is deteorating due to time and her medicine is cause that. Not literally he is aging as demon he is immortal.

Theory of Shinobu sacrifice that Tamayo gonna do like Shinobu happen after all.

Muzan is gonna die and fall. His deaths is just matter of time now. The longer he fights Tanjiro,the weaker he gets and become even more vulnerable to Tanjiro Dotg and attacks.

If this medicine works,Then Muzan downfall is written the moment he got inject by Tamayo medicine. The only problem is that effect was extremely late leading to all pillars being incapacitated and her cat being death.

Good riddance Muzan its time to die now.

Unless Muzan can adapt and get rid of its effect. Then This is over.

I'm betting now that there's a twist coming. It explains why she is not there yet. She will definitely fight. This is basically the Aizen battle in bleach all over again! Ichigo hadn't arrived yet and Aizen just trolled and beat everybody. This is supposed to be the same. It's nowhere near as good, but it's the same. (Nezuko IS main character, after all. And Tanjiro is the old Squad 1 leader). Muzan is going to do something.

At this point, it wouldn't surprise me aging a 1000 years actually WOULD theoretically kill a normal demon. Remember that they DO eat. Humans. They need more blood to grow stronger and and they go berserk if they don't eat. I bet they would eventually die or lose immortality if they went 9000 years without blood.

But the bet that Muzan is like his demons is wrong, and proven wrong over and over. He will probably not grow weaker, but stronger. Then we can have our "Here it is! My final form! I aM nOw ThE uLtImAtE lIfE fOrM!" moments. He's slowing because of the sudden acceleration to this new state, like a worm in its chrysalis...

THEN our darling heroine can come in, arms blazing to give Muzan sunburn.

(Or he could successfully suck out all her blood, and Nezuko just laugh and say, "Got you." and then blast him to flaming smithereens.

My guess is that since demons get stronger the more humans they eat, the more time it passes with them not being able to consume anything, the weaker they get. If the translations are right, 9000 years have passed for Muzan's body and during that ridiculous amount of time, he hasn't eaten anything, so that obviously it's going to weaken him, even if he is the progenitor of all demons. It's not the time itself what is weakening him since he's immortal, it's him not being able to consume anything. Though, the existence of a medicine with such effects feels like an excuse to weaken him. It's like Gotouge didn't know how to weaken him and came up with this idea, it's not bad, but it feels kinda ridiculous that a medicine with such effects exists (yeah, I know it's a shonen, but still).

Anyways I feel like Muzan will adapt to this. It wouldn't be any fun if he just keeps getting weaker and weaker non-stop. Nezuko and the former Pillars still need to step in, and she can probably heal all the fallen ones.
